TOGETHER [CH. 8]

*A few moons have past since Lightningstripe and i had left the clans behind to be together and now i'm expecting Lightningstripe's kits! but sometimes i still wonder how the clans have become with out us......*

*Amberlily was gazing out at the horizon*

*Amberlily sighed she was so happy that she could finally be with Lightningstripe but what would have happened that day if she really just had to use the dirtplace? would she have become Eagleflight's mate?, would she have had kits with him?, would she never have gotton to be with Lightningstripe, those questions had haunted her ever since the day she set out with Lightningstripe and still haunted her to this day but what could she do about it? nothing*

Lightningstripe: Hey i caught some prey wanna share?

*Amberlily turned around to see Lightningstripe smiling at her with a rabbit at his paws*

*Lightningstripe walked over laid down beside her and put the rabbit between them*

Amberlily: Of course you mouse brain! *she laughed and playfully shoved him*

Lightningstripe: Just wanted to check *he laughed*

*they ate then wen't inside their makeshift den to sleep* (P.S there not by anywhere near the clans but they made a den on the moor that they found)

The next morning

*Amberlily woke up and stretched and beside her Lightningstripe woke up and stretched too*

*just then Amberlily was in so much pain that she fell back into their nest*

*just then a light gray tabby tom ran into the den and pushed a shocked Lightningstripe away*

*Lightningstripe snarled as the tom ran towards me*

???: Don't worry i'm going to help her deliver her kits!

Lightningstripe: Who are you?

???: I'm Creek *said the tom*

* but of course i didn't complain because i was in to much pain to be able to talk*

*then a few minutes later i delivered two of the most beautiful kits iv'e ever seen the oldest one was the tom and the youngest was the she cat*

Amberlily: What do they look like? *she said with her eyes closed*

Lightningstripe: The tomkit is a orangekit , and the shekit is a yellowkit, and it looks like were going to have to wait until there eyes open to know what color they are, and their just beautiful! *he purred*

Amberlily: They sound beautiful too! *she purred*

*just then Amberlily opened her eyes and got a good look at Creek*

Amberlily: How could we ever repay you for helping us?

Creek: Don't worry i don't want anything in return for helping you

Lightningstripe: How did you know we were here? *he asked curiously*

Creek: Well i was passing by your den and then i heard her gasp in pain *he said pointing to Amberlily with a look of love*

Creek: And i just wanted to see if she was alright......

*Lightningstripe gave Creek a doubtful look*

Lightningstripe: hey see if she was alright to be your mate *he mumbled*

Amberlily: Thank you so much!

Creek: Your welcome

Creek: Well i best be going now

Amberlily: Wait! stay with us please! we'd love your company!
