ESCAPE [CH. 7]

*Amberlily woke up in the dark in Blacktail's den and she was so surprised that she tried to stand up but fell back down with a gasp*

*just then ears twitched beside her and then a pair of eyes were staring right at her and she stiffed with shock*

Amberlily: H- hello?

*just then the moon light shined in the den and it was Eagleflight who was staring at her with shock and regret*

Amberlily: What's wrong?

Eagleflight: Y- your n- not mad?

Amberlily: Mad at wh--

*just then she remembered every thing that had happened to her how she and Eagleflight fought, how she ran away, and then how she was flung into the air by the monster, and everything went black......*

*Eagleflight ran up to her and nuzzled her*

Eagleflight: I'm so sorry! *he sobbed*

Amberlily: I- i's okay Eagleflight.......

Eagleflight: No it's not! you almost died because of me!

*just then Amberlily was seeing everything from after everything wen't black.....*

*the monster passed on with out even noticing that it hit her....*

Eagleflight: Amberlily!!!

*he ran up to her*

Eagleflight: No!......

Eagleflight: Come on Amberlily get up! *he pleaded*

Eagleflight: F- fine i'll c- carry you b- back to c- camp t- then you'll be just f- fine!.......

*Eagleflight carried Amberlily back to camp and he heard Shadestar*

Shadestar: I need cats to go and find Amberlily, and Eagleflight

Falconwing: I'll go......

Sharpfang: I'll go too.......

Whitepelt: I'll also go.......

*and just has he walked through the fern tunnel he was met by gasps*

*Fernpelt and Falconwing ran up to him*

Fernpelt: Amberlily!

*Fernpelt turned and started sobbing on Falconwing's shoulder*

Falconwing: What happened?!

*Eagleflight set Amberlily on the ground and then turned to Falconwing sadly and guiltily*

*Eagleflight told them everything*

Eagleflight: And then she ran off towards Sunclan's camp but she turned the wrong way and was in the middle of the Thunderpath........

Eagleflight: I- i yelled her name and then she t- turned and looked at me but just then a m-monster came out of no ware and then she was f- flung into the air and the monster passed with out even knowing it h- hit her........

Eagleflight: And so i- i brought her h- here........

*Falconwing turned way sadly*

Falconwing: S- she was our o- only kit.....

*just then Featherpelt walked through the group of cats with Krestelpaw right behind him*

Featherpelt: Someone carry her to my den

Eagleflight: I will.....

Amberlily: Well at least i'm alive.....
