THE BEAST [CH. 11]

Just so you know I now want to put this chapter in to tell how Amberlily had died.

It has been a few moons since I gave Morningwind to Sunclan.. But from what I have heard is that she is doing great! Her kits Hailkit and Wildkit have now been made warriors taking on the names: Hailstorm and Wildflower.

And Blazestrike and Squirrelfrost's kits have also now been made warriors too taking on the names: Duskshadow Mossfern and Frostbrair.

Also i have now another kitten! by the way her name is Sparkkit!

Anyways i--

Lightningstripe: Amberlily!

Amberlily: Uh? Oh yes what is it Lightningstripe?

Lightningstripe: Shadestar said that your on patrol with me, Blazestrike, and Frostbrair!

Amberlily: What?, but Lightningstripe i have to take care of Sparkkit! i'm a queen i cant go on patrol!

Lightningstripe: See this is what i mean! you've been getting to comfortable as queen and now you don't even want to go on patrol anymore!

Lightningstripe: What happened to the cat you used to be? you used to LOVE going on patrols!

Amberlily: And i still do LOVE going on patrols Lightningstripe! but not when i am a queen! i have to take care of Sparkkit!

Lightningstripe: But i talked to Shadestar, and he agreed that it is good for you to get out of camp for awhile! All the queens of Shadeclan have at least gone out of camp once while they had kits!

Amberlily looked over at the HighRock and saw Shadestar looking at her with an amused look. Apparently the tom had heard their conversation.

But then out of nowhere Mossfern pushed out of the nursery with Sparkkit and a few other kits just behind them. Oh! that reminds me! Mossfern has had a litter of kittens! (I know suprising right? You'd think that Mossfern would always want to be out on patrol or training an apprentice of her own and that Frostbriar would be the one in the nursery, But No! Mossfern took a certain liking to Creek. the young warrior and her fell in love and became mates! and just at the start of this Newleaf Mossfern gave birth to four kittens.

Lighningstripe: Now come on their waiting for us! *he said as he trodded towards the fern tunnel*

Amberlily: Okay fine I'm coming! But don't expect me to kept up well with my leg!

Lightningstripe: Whatever you say!

*They are on patrol in forest*

*But suddenly a dog comes charging out of nowhere!*

Lightningstripe: Okay let's go this way--

*Suddenly the patrol hears a large crashing noise coming through the bushes*

Frostbrair: D-dog!! R-run!!!!!

*The cats make a terrifying escape from the dog*

*But Amberlily falls behind because of her never fully healed leg injury*

Blazestrike: Amberlily hurry!!

Amberlily: I'm trying! Just go on without me I'll catch up! I promise!

Blazestrike: B-but!?

Amberlily: JUST GO! *She yells while running*

Amberlily: Go save your daughter! I'm fine!

*Blazestrike frantically looks around at the mention of his daughter Frostbrair*

*But he soon spots her, her foot is stuck under a tree root. Trying to escape while terrified that the dog will get her.*

Blazestrike: Frostbrair wait I'm coming to help you!

*Blazestrike runs away to help Frostbrair. He gets her foot unstuck but she is limping badly. And Blazestrike is having a really bad time trying to help her get away from the dog and up a tree.*

*Lightningstripe runs over to Amberlily*

Lightningstripe: Amberlily come on! We need to find a tree to climb to get away from the dog!

Amberlily: I'm fine! Just go help Blazestrike and Frostbrair!

Lightningstripe: But I need to help YOU!

Amberlily: I'm fine don't worry about me! But if you don't help Blazestrike and Frostbrair then the dog with get them!

Lightningstripe: But!

Amberlily: Please Lightningstripe!

Lightningstripe: F- fine! But you need to promise me that you'll make it to safety!

Amberlily: I promise

*Lightningstripe nods*

*Lightningstripe runs away to help Blazestrike and Frostbrair*

*Amberlily try's to run away from the dog but she is in to much pain to run fast enough*

*The dog catches up to Amberlily and grabs her... Flinging her into the air, And when she comes back down, the dog catches her and snaps her neck killing her....*

Amberlily: Ahh!!!

*Lightningstripe looks back at Amberlily while helping Blazestrike and Frostbrair up a tree*
Lightningstripe: Amberlily!!!!

*Amberlily is in Starclan*

Amberlily: W-where am I?

Moonshadow: You are in Starclan Amberlily, Welcome...

Amberlily: Starclan!? No I can't be! I promised Lightningstripe that I would make it to safety!!

Moonshadow: I'm sorry that I have to do this to you Amberlily, But you must stay here in Starclan.......

*Amberlily falls to the ground while crying*

Amberlily: No..... I.. What will I do now?
