Chapter 2 : Seatmate

I was resting my head on my table until I heard silent gasps and little screams in my surroundings. I was in class and I had my head on my desk. I wanted to sleep because I slept at 2 a.m. last night. I was watching kdramas because yolo, why not and I woke up at 6 a.m, thanks to my 'beloved' parents. But when I think of it, psst. It's the first day. I shouldn't fuck it up. I need good impressions from my teachers who are going to be teaching me this year. Sigh. I held my head up to see what's going on.

"Class, meet your new classmate. Please come in, boy." said the teacher while smiling. In comes a new student, I observe his shadows along with his figures from the bottom to the top, entering into the classroom. His feet steps in first, wearing gucci shoes. Aren't those shoes limited. They only had 50 pairs in the whole world? Ommo! Tight denim jeans, a white shirt underneath his Louis Vuitton jacket and.. Oh dear. I look around and girls from my class start to drool at him. I look at my best friends and they were so lost and confused on what's happening. It couldn't be. It shouldn't be. It's him, the guy who requested to follow me on Instagram this morning, the guy who I've been stalking this morning. This is going to be so awkward, I hope he doesn't recognize it's me. I shook away my thoughts, taking this as a small matter.

"Hello. My name is Park Jimin." Park Jimin, so that's his name. His instagram username is cute though. "I'll be your classmate for the whole year, please take care of me." "Please take a seat, Jimin. There's an empty seat at the back next to- " the teacher said and her words were cut off by the queenka in my class, Rena. She pushes the girl away who is quietly sitting next to her and taps the now empty sit beside her. "There's an available seat here!"

"That's not nice of you to push your seatmate away, Rena. Please head back to your seat, Kina" Rena's seatmate, Kina, then follows as said with a sad expression on her face. Jeong Rena was never liked by anyone in our class. She only had her minion friends and they are the exact same as her, bitches in my school. They go around the school with their slutty outfits, bully other girls and tries to attract other boys. Boys from other classes have eyes on Rena because of her sexy figure.

She's rich, she has everything but she's the type to go to pubs every night. I heard she lost her virginity too. She slept with all types of men. She wanted the pleasure. She loves boys. If you didn't know, her grandparents own this school. Rumors said she got in this school with her grandparents' position and money, not results. You may think I am a busy body minding other people's businesses but trust me, I don't give a fuck on what is happening in this hell place called school. I heard everything from my best friends, they love gossips and I had no choice but to sit there and listen whenever we talk. But it's kinda entertaining and fun to listen to. I'm lowkey interested in their gossips since this school is really boring. Sigh.

"Jimin, you can sit next to Minji." She then points to the seat next to mine. "Alright, teacher." I can feel Rena's burning eyes on me. 'Whatever.' He then walks up to my seat. As he was walking, the girls carefully stared at every one of his movements, being detailed. He's just walking but he's attracting attention at the same time. Girls in my class have feelings for him at this instant, I just know that. While me, I couldn't remain bothered even if he sits beside me. I need to survive and graduate from this school. I need to keep up with my studies because I have to get into the university I've always wanted to get in.

He then places his bag on the chair and sits next to me. I looked at his profile and quickly looked away when he turned his head and looked at me in the eyes. I gulped. I have to admit he does have the looks, he is handsome but I don't like him. I don't know him.

The whole class session went by and everyone was anticipating for lunch break. They kept staring at the clock hanging on the wall in front of the class. There were about 20 minutes left, well too bad for them. I have some time to do these math questions. I have 5 questions left and I'm planning to complete them here because I have plans after school. I smirk to myself knowing I'll be able to have a lot of time to watch my kdrama tonight. Yay.

I've been smiling at myself because I know how to do all these questions. And it's a good thing because completing homework at school will let me enjoy fun quality time at home and I don't have to worry about copying homework during the next class and shit.

I didn't realize the guy next to me was staring at me for the whole time. Then he speaks up "Hey would you teach me this question. I'm stuck and I can't seem to solve it. Um, sorry that you have a dumb seatmate next to you but I think I would need some help from you throughout the whole year if we remain as seatmates." I look up and opened my eyes wide. "Um yes, this question is quite tough but it'll be easy if you know how to do it. Let me teach you this and you'll be able to solve the coming tougher ones"

I then taught him the formulas and steps in solving this question. He couldn't understand it at first but he was lucky that I have high patience when it comes to teaching other people. I kept explaining in details and he finally gets it so he thanked me afterwards. "Thank you for the help. I really appreciate it." "Yeah sure, anytime. It was nothing." Bell rang and everyone ran out the door for lunch after the teacher left. He then stands up, smiled at me and left.

Oh shit, I thought to myself. I have four questions left. I'll just skip lunch and do these questions. My friends came to me not long after. "Oh my God, stop doing these questions. Maths over. Solve these questions at home. Let's head to the cafeteria and get some food." said Yuna.
Ri Hyo then winks at me "And also, someone hit a jackpot, didn't she?" "Yep, and she talked to him during class just now" Yuna then wiggles her eyebrows. "Stop it guys! I was just being the good classmate I am. I was just teaching him. Plus I'm not you guys, obsessed over someone you don't know and I never will." I said. "Oh shut up, don't talk so loud. You'll never know what happens in the future. Time will tell." They then pulled me off my seat and we head to the cafeteria together. I rolled my eyes and they laughed at me.
