Chapter 8 : Again?

My friends and I went to the cinema to watch a movie. It was a horror movie. I don't really like watching scary movies. They just scare the shit out of me but I still came here because Yuna already bought us tickets and I didn't want to disappoint my friends. I went along and now I am here. Every minute I would just glance at the screen and look away out of fear. I feel bored but I didn't show it. I looked next to my friends and I can see that they were fully focused on the movie. I smiled at them, knowing they're enjoying it.

Suddenly my phone vibrated and I saw a message from Jimin. I hesitated whether if I should open it. I don't want to leave him a "seen" again. I don't even know how to reply him. After a few seconds I ended up opening the message anyway.

Jimin : Hey, please don't ignore me. I know you're mad at what happened at school but please don't be mad at me too. At least leave a reply to reassure me. :(

I feel bad for ignoring him and after thinking through it I decided to reply him. I can't just ignore him forever. I turned to look at my friends again. Eyes fully focusing on the screen. I secretly typed the message without looking suspicious so they wouldn't question me again. I will get lectured again if they found out.

Me : Hey there. It's okay, I forgot about it. And also, sorry for not replying earlier. I am at the movies with my friends right now.

After almost immediately my phone vibrated again.

Jimin : Alright then. Have fun with your friends.

Then I realized something.

Me : By the way, can I ask you something?
Jimin : Sure, what is it?
Me : How did you get my number?
Jimin : I have my ways. ;)
Me : Oh come on. Tell me. 😪
Jimin : Alright, alright. Relax. I got it from our class teacher.
Me : What? And she gave it to you just like that?
Jimin : Yeah. I told her we had projects together and she believed in my acting so yeah.
Me : And you wanted my number just to apologize to me?
Jimin : Yeah.
Me : 😑
Jimin : Hahaha. Alright, talk to you soon. 😁

What a weird person. Little did I know, the movie ended. I looked up the screen and the closing credits start to roll. I then looked next to my friends, they were stretching on their seats. "Hell man. That was a really great movie." said Yuna. "Yeah, I know right. The scariest part was at the beginning where the lady was walking by the park and suddenly a head dropped from the tree." exclaimed Ri Hyo.
