“RUN!” shouts an older man before he gets gunned down by two men in all black body armor.
“DAD, NO!” screams the boy. Witnessing both of his parents deaths broke him, and surely the killers were coming for him as well. So, the boy hid for a while until they found him, and the boy, who was broken, didn’t go down without a fight. The boy fought and fought until a man with a knife arrived.
“I didn’t want to do this, kid. Your parents were good people. But they got in my way,” says the man. “Ezra, your parents had to die because they found out things abou-“
“GO TO HELL, DAMON!” Ezra screams as he runs past the black clad men with guns, brandishing a knife. Ezra knew how to fight. His father trained him.
As Ezra jumps, Damon makes a stabbing motion at the boy, only grazing his face. Ezra, however, gets a clean cut on Damon, giving him a scar underneath his eye and on the bridge of his nose.
“YOU LITTLE FUCKER!” growls Damon. “You’re fucking dead now. DEAD!”
“Maybe you should have chose a better profession than being what you are,” Ezra retorts. He had had enough. Ezra wanted to end it all.
As he got ready to make a final run at Damon, he pulled out a small pistol and fired at the boy. The bullet pierced his chest, almost killing him.
“You didn’t have to die, kid,” says an injured Damon. He regretted the action of shooting the weapon into Ezra’s chest.
“I-it d-d-does-doesn’t ma-matter…” Ezra sputters out, before his entire world went black.
Two hours later, Ezra’s lifeless body was thrown into a dumpster outside his burning house. Yet, the boy wasn’t dead somehow, due to a supernatural occurrence in him. The cuts, scars, and wounds he received stayed, but he awoke, alive and well.
As the boy climbed out of the dumpster, he saw his house in flames. Ezra jumped out of the dumpster and ran towards it, before an explosion consumed the remains of the house.
“NO!!!” Ezra screamed. He lost everything. His life, his family, and everyone believed he was dead. So, it would stay that way. Until the right time came for his return.
