Jason wakes up very early this particular Saturday, partly because of the sleep he had, and partly because he has to be at Blackwell Academy, along with Rachel Amber and Chloe Price, for punishment. Jason did not care at all. He got dressed in his usual attire, and he went out to the kitchen to grab a drink, hopefully with caffeine in it. He spots some lemonade/sweet tea drink mix. Fuck it, I’ll try this… whatever the hell is.
As he drinks the tea, Jason suddenly realizes that he loves this. He puts it in his mug, caps it with a lid, and goes out to his car parked outside. He fumbled getting the keys in, but eventually he managed it. Since Blackwell was 30 minutes from his home, Jason decided to stall a bit. He loved pissing Ray Wells off. A lot.
As he drive through Arcadia Bay, he drank his tea, and sees the fire. Jesus… and they didn’t get any firefighter training here? He scoffs at that. Jason then decides to go to Blackwell early.
5 minutes later, he enters the parking lot, and heads directly to the Principal's main office.
“You're early, Mr. Todd,” says Mr. Wells, alarmed, yet calm.
“Well, we do have things to talk about. And I really don't want the girls hearing what needs to be said. Chloe saw enough last night. We need to talk about who the dealer is in this school,” replies Jason. Wells looks at the boy, and understands what has to be done.
    “Alright, Jason. Go on.”
“The real reason I skipped with them was so I could find the right person who runs the drug trade here. Kids here always say it’s the Prescotts, but I say otherwise. Damon Merrick wouldn't trust scum like them.”
“They aren't scum, Mr. Todd, but I see where you are coming from. Who do you think it is?”
“North. But, he's doing it to help his old man out. It doesn't excuse the dealings, but I could ask him about it.” Jason's’ face gets darker. “I don't want Andrew or Michael hurt by that bastard… ”
Wells looks conflicted, but responds with that same cool tone. “Go ahead, Mr. Todd. But I do believe that the two girls have arrived. You won't receive much punishment, but the others… I'm afraid that they will have other consequence-”
Jason glares at him, and states, “They ditched because Rachel wanted to figure out what was going on with her father. Chloe just tagged along because it’s… well, it's Chloe. Don't make their punishment too harsh. Like expulsion. Chloe cares, but she is just hurting. Give her one more chance.” Wells merely nods and gestures to a seat.
As Jason sits down, the Ambers and Chloe, alongside her mother, walk in. The two sit on both sides of Jason, who looks angered. I swear, if he doesn't listen to me…
“As you all no doubt know, leaving school grounds, like what happened yesterday, is disobedience at the highest level. But, Mr. Todd here, has convinced me to give all of you another chance. Chloe, you are suspended until fall semester. And Rachel, after tonight's performance of “The Tempest,” you will also be suspended, but only for one week.
The girls look at Jason, surprised, but he brushes it off. Mr. Amber also looks at Jason, and he thanks him quietly.
A long talk about honor at Blackwell later, the trio agrees to meet at the Junkyard later, but Jason has other plans. He needs to see Drew North.
