As Frank drops Jason and Chloe off, he tells them that they might not have time.
“Relax, Frankie, we got this,” Jason states. He shows him the weapon he always carried on him, a knife. “If I need to pick locks, I can do it with this.
“Whatever. Just get the money, and get out.”
He speeds off, and the two begin to go to the dorms. He studies the entrance, and assumes it’s locked. “It’ll be locked. I’d say we either find the keys or break in,” Jason states as they walk up to the door.
Chloe looks at him, laughing. “We’re gonna break in? With what, your knife? Wait, could that work?”
Jason takes out the knife, and says, “Let’s see.”
He carefully sticks the weapon in the door, and he hears a few clicks. Gotcha. Jason smiles as he opens the door. “After you, Ms. Price.”
Chloe pushes him aside, calling him a smartass, and both enter the dorms.
“We need to find Drew’s room. Fast,” Chloe hastily says. Jason nods in agreement, and they find his room.
“It’s open…” Jason quietly says, and they enter the room. It looks like Michael was also staying there, with packed bags. He was ready to leave. Damon's somehow connected to this.
“If I were Drew, where would I put the money?” asks Chloe aloud.
As they walk around, Jason looks at the chest by Drew’s bed, and kneels down to open it, but it’s locked. He then pulls out his knife to unlock it, and he sees the money. “Price!”
Chloe looks at him, amazed. “Was it in there?”
“Yeah. Now we gotta get outta here. Soon.”
As the pair begin to leave, Michael and Drew walk in, asking what they’re doing with the money. Then they all hear a voice call out to Drew. Jason knows the voice too well
“Hey, Drew, I don’t have all day. Hurry up,” says Damon Merrick. Jason has his opportunity to do what he needs to do now.
As Jason begins to walk out there, Drew stops him. “You can’t. We need that money for our dad.”
“I’ll give you $2,000. I’m giving him his money. All shredded up,” Jason growls. He has his chance. He’s waited two years. In his mind, that's two long, agonizing years.
Jason walks out to meet the drug lord, and he calmly says, “Hey, Merrick. You want the damn money?”
Damon looks at the boy, confused, and asks, “Who the fuck are you and why do you have my money?”
“Oh, this?” Jason asks, as he throws the money somewhere out of sight after tearing it up. Jason chuckled. “Well, not anymore, murderer.”
Damon screams and runs at Jason, but he dodges him, throwing him into a door. Hearing the commotion outside, Drew, Michael, and Chloe all run out and see the fight between the rivals. Jason definitely has an advantage over Damon, as he is smaller and faster. However, he lost his weapon to Damon, who is now using it.
Jason takes his weapon back, after throwing him towards the doors again. The bystanders watch in awe, and now both combatants are armed, and ready for the kill.
“I’ve waited so fucking long, Damon. So long. And I’m going to get what I want,” Jason spits out. He’s boiling with rage now, and he’s about to go for the kill, but he remembers what happened the first time. As such, Jason left the fight unfinished. “Get out of my sight before I change my mind and kill you here and now.”
Damon grabs his money, and runs for the doors, with everyone else watching.
“Holy shit. You just fought Damon Merrick. And won,” says Drew, amazed at Jason. Chloe smiles, and then frowns because Frank called her, and asked what was happening.
“Let me talk to him,” Jason says as Chloe hands him her phone. Frank was pissed, but Jason cuts him off angrily.
“I did what was right, Frank. Damon’s a murderer, liar, rapist, and a horrible person. I have the money. I’ll pay you back.”
Frank asks about Damon, and Jason responds. “I don’t know, I just want revenge.” He gives Chloe the phone back, and she goes off to see Rachel in the play. Drew and Michael are given the money by Jason, and he walks off, more angry than ever. Jason knows what he has to do now. He has to end Damon before it’s too late.
