Uncle's POV

I am stuck waiting again, but at least the nice nurse Sonya led me to a shower and found me some scrubs to change into. She filled me in on the fact that the boys and Sang were all fine and they were being held only for observation. Their friend Sara on the other hand is still in critical condition, but she has stabilized enough to have surgery to have the bullet removed. It was risky, but the academy had pulled together a surgical team and had them flown into the Jasper hospital. They said that it was better than trying to transport her to another hospital.

Sonya also assured me that I would not catch anything from the girl that threw up all over me. While she looked young enough to still be in high school, her name was Dr. Sawyer, and she is a world class neurosurgeon. She is in the middle of a difficult pregnancy and is not really taking care of herself the way that she should.

I pull out my phone to check the time when I hear a childlike voice saying, "Excuse me sir, but are you Mr. Taylor?"

I look over and see a young child dressed in scrubs, holding a thick folder of papers. I look around to see if anyone else is with her as I say, "Yes I am Mr. Taylor. Are you one of the doctor's on my nephews team?"

She looks up at me laughing as she says, "Are you being silly? I cannot be a doctor, I am only four. You have to finish high school, college and medical school before you become a doctor. I am only in the second grade. I am here to check in with you regarding an incident that occurred earlier. It is my understanding that my mother got sick on you, and I needed to gather information for an incident report."

I look around trying to see if there is an adult with her before I say, "If you are only four, what are you doing roaming the halls of the hospital all by yourself? Does someone know where you are?"

She gives me an exaggerated look and says, "I am in a hospital that is on Academy and Legacy lockdown. Ms. Fallon snuck up to the third floor to see if she could play candy striper and get a look at the hot guys that in quarantine. Plus I have trackers in my shoes, clothing and my necklace, so when anyone realizes that I am awake and out of my room, they will be able to track me down. So if you don't mind, I would like to ask you a few questions regarding what happened earlier this morning."

I look down and say, "Yes there was a small incident, but you do not need to be worried about it. The medical team explained that your mom was not feeling well. I think they gave her some medicine to make her feel better."

The little girl scrunches up her face and says, "I do need to be worried about it, everyone needs to be worried about it, but I am having trouble convincing people that there is an issue. I need to state from the start that I am not jealous; I am just trying to search for a fair and equitable solution to an ongoing problem. My soon to be baby brother is in my mommy's tummy, and he is causing all kinds of issues. Mommy gets tired a lot, she is sick all time, and they have to give her medicine through a needle. I think my baby brother should get a time out for it, but they tell me that until he is born, that he has to stay in mommy's tummy so he is just getting away with it. He will eventually come out, and I can only imagine that if he is causing these kinds of problems now, that he will be even worse later. I heard from a good source, that prior bad acts are not always admissible when determining future punishment. I have written a petition that says I would be allowed to submit testimonials of prior bad acts to show that he has a history of causing havoc and mayhem. My friend Tess has two little brothers and they always get into her stuff and they never get in trouble. We have heard her mommy say more than once that they are just babies. I am looking out for the future of my brother to ensure that he does not become like them."
