Will We Work?

Part 2

Marco's POV:
After Star took me out we bought a few things for our selves. It's been a week since I was sent to Earth and it's been going well. My parents call me about every night.

Right now it's a Friday night and Star and I are getting ready for a movie night.

We got the snacks and drinks and put them on the coffee table.

"So what movie did you pick" I asked Star. "Oh you'll see" she answered, putting the movie in.

Once I saw the title I knew it was a horror movie. 1: because of the 'designs' and 2: I heard Janna and Star talking about it. It's called 'It'. "Star why did you pick this" I whined "oh come on Marco it's not real and you have to loosen up" She answered in matching tone as mine.

Time skip to end of the movie••••

Even though it's not real I still got terrified. The credits were showing and I felt something on my shoulder. I turn to look and I see Star peacefully sleeping. I moved her hair out of her face and I saw her slightly smile. I then felt butterflys in my stomach. I didn't know what it was so I just ignored the feeling.

I then felt my one eyes grow heavy and I put me head on hers and went to a peaceful sleep.

Morning***************

I woke up and saw Star on my chest. I felt myself blush slightly. Minutes later she woke up.

'Morning Marco" she said getting up and stretching "morning Star" I replied. I then heard my mirror ringing. "I'll be right back' I said to Star as I got up, she just nodded.

I went upstairs and saw it was my mom and dad. "Hi mom, hi dad" I said "hello Marco" my mom and dad responed "so what did you want to talk about" I asked "Marco, we want to remind you again about the almost King of Mewni you must come and give a speech just in case you forgot" my dad said "yes dad how could I forget" I responded "good, well we have to go now, oh and you could bring if you'd like" my mom said "love you" they said "ok, love you too" I responded and hung up. I went to go brush my teeth before going down. I know exactly who i'm gonna take...

Star's POV:
After Marco went upstairs I went to brush my teeth then make eggs and bacon for breakfast. I just knew it was about the 'Future King Speech' thing, for my mom told me 2 nights ago that they were getting ready. As I finished a put the plates on the table, I heard Marco came downstairs.

"Mmmmm smells good' Marco said "thanks I said as I got us drinks and sat down. "Hey Star, could I ask you something" Marco said as we started eating "shoot" I replied. "So on Mewni I have to do this speech thing and was wondering if you wanted to go" he asked. Knew it!!! I thought. "Sure" I responded "really" he said slightly shocked. "Yeah why not, when is it" I asked "Tomorrow" he responded, as we finished, then we went to go change.

As I was looking through my closet for something tomorrow. I found a black short strapless dress with a ribbon around it and chose black pump high heels. I changed alot through out the years and they problably forgot about me anyways so the King and Queen won't recognize me. I left it seperated and went downstairs to see Marco waiting for me in the living room.

"Let's go" he said "yeah" I responded as I took his hand. We left for a calm walk to get ready for tomorrow.
