Jordan was on edge and had a good mind to call it quits on his mission. As an angel, he was to guard a human from doing wrong but how could he when his latest distraction was non other than his mate.
'The gods be damned' he cursed.
Maria, as her name tag read, was as beautiful as an angel could get. He was awed at how flawless she looked under the neon lights of her work station. The intrinsic whiteness of her hair, gleamed back at him as he stared at her from his table.
He then noticed she was making her way towards where he was seated. He decided to see if she would feel the same pull he felt towards her.
He reached out for her shoulder before he found himself falling face forward, on to the table, with his left hand held behind his back at a painful angle.
He was dazed for a minute mostly on how fast and strong she had been to be able to pin a fully grown male Home sapien, especially at her short height.
Her eyes momentarily flashed gold as her skin became red before going back to its natural paleness. The only thing that could explain that was the fact that she is not human at all.
The threat she had uttered was laced with spite that shone her malevolence. Her lips, pink and pouty, that gave off a sensual vibe were pulled into what resembled a sneer.
Her eyes set ablaze, reminded him of the ocean with coral beneath, bright and sparkly.
He was then mercilessly thrown into a battle of wits with her, of which he failed miserably. The only thing he could do was ask his guarded to tame her, but where would the fun there be.
After she left a suicidal note in the air, she finally made her way to her aisle and he turned to Ethan and asked on where he got his employees from.
His reply being a question on whether he would carry out his threat on leaving the club or not.
Ethan made his way to his office with Jordan pursuing a background check on the girl.
He skimmed through and found out that she lived with a relative who was a known psychologist. He decided to follow her treck home to see what she usually got back home to.
When her door opened, the dark porch warmly lit by a golden glow, he heard a deep voice greet his notorious mate.
His eyes strained to see past the dark shadows that blocked his vision until a gasp escaped his lips.
The man was the angels' pride, fallen.

I must suck at Jordan's POV but don't worry it won't be that bad.Any who, Jordan's POV is kinda hard to do so I'll have to send them slower than Rym's.
