Chapter 21: She left.

Penelope - Col3trane.

Katie.

"How so?" I snapped back quickly, folding my arms over my chest.

"Why you out here tryna steal my girls man?" She shook her head in a sassy motion as she replied.

"Wait a minute?" I held my hands up then burst into laughter.

Her man?

"Kim seriously thinks she still has a chance with Jordan?" I said between laughs.

"Kimberly had Jordan before you, not cool." She was being so serious but I just couldn't stop laughing Kimberly's patheticness really got me.

She leaned forward and brought her voice down to a dangerous whisper, "You're probably in here for some drug shit, I was in a gang." 

"You really think I'm scared of you?" I scoffed.

She striked my face with the back of her hand,  "Stupid British bitch!"

Pain shot through my cheek but all I could do was laugh... again. She really thought she had the upper hand. Flo and Kaia soon joined. "Both of you, with me, now!

"You have no idea what happened to me!" She added but her voice was more of a screech now.

"I didn't want to have to do this Hallie." I sighed then pulled my fist up and, putting my entire body behind it, smashed it into her nose.

Jeremy ran over to us before she could retaliate and stop between me and Hallie. "Stop!" He yelled and  Flo and Kaia soon joined. "Both of you, with me, now!" he span on his heel and pointed at Flo and Kaia, "You two, no fucking around while I'm gone." Then smacked a hand on my back, leading me to the main office.

"Sir, we've had a incident." Jerry said awkwardly to Martin in the office.

"Let me handle it." Martin nodded and Jerry left. "Come here girls." He directed with his head for us to come closer to him and we did. "Now, Hallie, what happened?"

She took a deep breath then began, "I know some people that live in London and I only asked her if she knows them and she just flipped out and started punching me. She has to go to isolation Mr Angel, she's crazy."

Frikin' excuse me?

"What? No!" I exclaimed. "She's lying."

He turned to me, "Okay then Katie, what's your story?" He asked, still calm as ever.

"She came over to me and started having a go about me dating someone that her friend is obsessed with then she slapped me so I hit her, it was self-defence." I explained.

A pause.

"Both of you come with me." And he lead us out.

Me, Hallie and Martin stood outside of a few motel-type blocks.  "Where are we--" I began but a blow to my head made me smack the floor and the lights went out.

"Eliza!" I called out when I spotted Katie's best friend of the side of the road then ran to her side. She quickly turned on her heel again when she saw me but I caught her in time. "Eliza." I repeated.
