Already gone - Sleeping at last (cover. original - Kelly Clarkson)
Katie.
My mother grabbed me the moment me and Jordan walked through the door. "Oh, Katie! Thank god you're here." The she pulled me back and the look in her eyes terrified me. "Where the hell have you been!?"
"I'm so sorry Mum." I said with true sincerity.
"Jordan, we need to go." Ivy said and her voice was terrifying even for me.
"What? No." Jordan said from behind me.
"I don't care what you say, we're going." Ivy walked past us and out the door and when Jordan sighed, I turned to him.
"I'll uh... see you." He said awkwardly.
"Yeah, I'll see you." I replied just as awkwardly because I didn't know what would be appropriate in front of my mum. He turned then closed to door behind him with a click.
"What you have pulled off is so reckless Katie. How dare you?" My mum said when I turned to her again.
"I am really sorry." I said but couldn't meet her eyes.
"You do realise that you never got to say a goodbye to Benjamin and Eliza?" She folded her arms and my stomach dropped.
I forgot.
"They left for Wales yesterday to finish school up there, you'd know if you was down here." She added and I felt my eyes fill with water with the fact that I won't see my best friends for a while.
"Sorry." I said once again. "I'm so sorry."
"Saying sorry won't get you anywhere, give me a couple hours and we'll talk again." And with that she left.

I got a missed call from Jordan earlier and in the voicemail, he told me to meet him at the park so that's where I stood. He appeared through the trees and I smiled. I hadn't seen him all night and it felt weird considering he was with me every second the past few days. "You called, what's up baby?" I said when he was close enough to hear.
"I gotta show you something." He nodded his head behind him. "You up for a crime scene?"

"Oh my god." I whispered when I saw the gang's house. It was wrapped up in 'do not cross' tape and police were everywhere. "What the hell happened?" I turned to Jordan but he was already watching me.
"Someone reported the golden arrows and named our place of residence. Hiro, Tom and Dad have been arrested because they were in the house. Luckily no one else was." He explained.
"So where are the rest of them?" I asked hesitantly.
"Ivy is living with Paris; Kim has moved to Norfolk to live with her aunt and me, Liam, Cadee and Aurora are living in a motel right now." He told me and look out to his house across the street.
"Are you okay?" I asked sheepishly.
"I'll be fine." He nodded and looked back down at me. "I wanted to tell you that I just need a few days so we can all get settled. Will you be okay if I just go MIA for a while?" He asked.
"Of course, whatever you need." I wanted to say no but that would be selfish. He needed his family right now.

I hadn't seen Jordan in months and he told me that it would only be a couple days. I'd tried to call him a few times and he answered once. He only told me that he would see me soon and that he's so sorry. Any other time, it just went straight to voicemail. It had been almost 3 months and we hardly said 5 words. I missed him a lot but I felt like he needed the space.
