"Only one month away."

"Fuck."

I threw the sheets off my body and placed my feet on the cold marble floors.

I rushed to my bathroom and closed the door behind me.

My Family invites my Grandmother & Grandfather every Sunday for breakfast, Which I'm always late for.

My family is what I like to call the 3 R's. Rude, Rich, & Rubbish.

My parents are one of the legendary wizards at Hogwarts, for the house Ravenclaw.

I quickly used the bathroom and moved swiftly to my closet.

I picked out an old black dress with a bow tie on the waist.

After I got done putting it on I looked in the mirror in front of me.

I glanced at the image staring back at me.

"Where's my hairbrush" I wondered aloud.

I grabbed the brush on my dresser and combed trough my (h/c) haired mess.

"Y/n get your tush downstairs! Grandma and Grandpa are waiting!" My father called.

I rolled my eyes and ran downstairs.

As I reached the bottom of the stairs I saw my grandma and grandpa smiling at me.

I cracked a fake smile and stood by my parents.

My mother clasped her hands together. "Well, we don't want the hash browns getting cold now will we?" She smiled. "Let's eat."

Our family gathered around the table, all eyes fixed on the great meal in front of us.

"Looks pretty damn good, son." My grandpa complimented my father.

"What can I say, moms cooking skills come in handy?" He said.

I rolled my eyes. My father isn't the one who cooks, our Butler does.

After eating, the Diamond family started talking about The school of Hogwarts.

"So Y/n," my Grandfather spoke. "Have you got ten your letter yet?"

"What letter?" I asked.

"Why, to Hogwarts of course!" My grandmother beamed.

"Oh." I said quietly.

I knew exactly what letter she was talking about. I've been waiting for what seemed like forever for that letter. I've been worrying that I might not even get one.

"Hogwarts is a place of magic & wonder, your parents were one of the best wizards there," My Grandfather informed.

"Really?" I said, acting like I haven't heard this 1,000 times already.

"Yes, they saved many lives when, you know who attacked." Grandfather said quietly.

"Yes, Y/n, we are the Diamond Family, Nobody, is better than us, not will they be." My father said proudly.

I looked at him in disgust, taking in what he just said.

My grandmother must have saw the look on my face, because she immediately commented.

"Your Father is right Y/n, you should be proud of what our family has done."

I wanted to open my mouth and say "bullshit" but that would just be a bullshit idea.

I got my letter soon after my Grandparents came over, it was definitely a formal letter
