"Welcome to Hogwarts."

I stepped onto the train that was going to send me away to Hogwarts.

I felt awkward because I didn't know anyone or anything.

I walked past the isles of the train searching for an empty seat.

In the back of the train I found a seat that wasn't taken. I sat down in it and rested my head up against the window.

I watched as the other students boarded the train.

It was a weird journey getting here. I found out there was no such thing as platform 9 3/4 in the Muggle world. Weirdly, I had to run into a stone wall. But the Stonewall was actually a portal to the train station to Hogwarts.

"Can I sit here?"

I spun around and saw a brown haired boy with blue eyes looking at me.

"Sure." I said

I scooted over and made room for the boy. He sat down next to me and smoothed his shirt.

"Thank you." He said with a smile.

"Are you also first-year?" He asked.

"Yeah." I turned towards him & immediately recognized who he was

"Holy shit! Your Harry Potter!" I said in awe.

"Yeah I guess..." Harry said shyly.

"Sorry, I'm totally fangirling." I laughed to myself awkwardly.

"mind if I ask, but," I brushed a piece of hair from his face.

His forehead had a lighting scar on it.

"Wow." I said in awe. "So it is true."

Harry nodded. He was obviously bored in the conversation.

"So what house you think you'll be sorted into?" I asked changing the subject.

"No clue," he said. "How about you?"

"Ravenclaw. Its what all my ancestors were in."

"Oh, cool"

I looked over harry and saw a girl with the trolley coming toward us with a tray of goodies.

I turned to Harry. "Want something to eat?"

He looked at the tray and back at me. "If it doesn't cause too much trouble-"

"Of course not." I spoke. "Ma'am?"

The lady with the trolly looked at me.

"Can we have a handful of everything on the cart?" I said with a smile.

Harry's eyes widened. "How much candy are you getting?!"

"As much as possible."

The lady handed me an armload of candy and placed it on my lap.

I turned to the side of me and grabbed my pouch full of galleons.

"10 Galleons." The lady ordered.

I handed her 10 Galleons and looked at the Mountain of candy on my lap.

"Well, do you want any?" I asked.

"Please." He said grinning.

I reached at my pile and handed him half of it.

"I'll pay you back, hold on a second." He started to reached towards his bag of Galleons when I grabbed his arm.

"Don't worry about it." I assured.
