"I just knew."

I gasped.

"Slytherin?!"

I looked at Professor McGonaglle.

"There must be some kind of mistake!" I said worriedly.

"The Sorting hat makes no mistakes Miss Y/n, now go sit at your table." The Professor ordered.

I looked over at Ron & Harry who were both whispering in each other's ear, looking at me.

I shuffled over to the Slytherin table. The only seat left was next to Malfoy.

I slowly walked over and sat down next to him.

Draco turned to me. "What a shocker."

"Y/n Diamond, a Slytherin, probably going to be a disgrace to our house." He said nastily.

I gave him a dirty look. "It takes one to know one, Malfoy."

He nodded and laughed to himself. "The minute I met you I knew you would be in Slytherin."

"Why?" I asked in confusion.

"I just knew." He said.

"Your a very detailed person." I grumbled.

"Very." He responded.

I looked towards the teachers table.

At the end, there was a big, no, giant man with lion like hair, next to him was a Tall, long black haired man, looking at me.

He was creeping me out so I looked away.

"Have a little crush on Professor Snape do you?" Draco teased.

"Who?"

"The Man you were staring at, is Professor Snape." Draco explained.

"I don't have a crush on him, heck, he looks like a skinny toad."

Draco laughed at my joke.

I suddenly picked my arms up off the table, which was now piled on with food.

"Woah." I said to myself.

Their were mountains of every possible food you could dream of, and for the Love of God, Pizza.

I piled my plate with pepperoni pizza and a couple chicken wings.

Draco looked at me weird.

"What?" I said stuffing my face in pizza.

He smiled to himself & shook his head.

After dinner we all went to our dormitories.

I didn't realize it was 9 o'clock already.

The rooms had three beds in them, with shiny green sheets.

I sat down in one closest to the window, viewing a lake. I set my stuff down next to my bed, admiring the view.

I suddenly heard the door creek open.

A black haired girl came into my room.

"Are these taken?" She pointed to the empty beds across from mine.
