I watched as Harry gripped his wand tightly, glaring at Malfoy with pure hatred.

"One, two-"

Malfoy skipped three, and swayed his wand.

Silver sparks flew from Malfoy wand, hitting Harry in the chest, sending him to fly backwards.

I heard lots of laughter coming from the Slytherins, especially Pansy. Harry got up almost immediately. He held out his wand, and shouted, "Sectumsempra!'

Once the spell hit Malfoy, he was sent flying towards the other end of the dueling platform. Snape glared at him and grabbed Malfoy by his robes and pushed him forward.

Malfoy slashed his wand "Serpensortia!"

All of a sudden, a snake shot out from Malfoy's wand, landing near Harry. Harry look puzzled at first, until the Snake turned towards Justin, a first year Hufflepuff, it was going to attack.

Harry drew near the snake. "Leave him." He hissed.

The Snake turned towards Harry, hesitating, then he turned towards Justin.

Lockhart And Snape looked stunned, like he was speaking another language.

Justin trembled with fear.

"Leave him." Harry repeated.

The Snake did as it was told and left Justin untouched.

Snape held up his wand slowly. "Vipera Evanesca."

The Snape disappeared leaving ashes on the ground.

Justin looked furious. "What are you playing at?" He said angerly

Harry raised an eyebrow, confused. He looked back at Lockhart and Snape, who both were lost in words.

"Class dismissed." Snape said.

Ron and Hermione grabbed Harry after class and pulled him into an empty corridor.

"Harry why didn't you tell us?" Ron said.

"Tell you What?" I asked.

"Y/n, did you not just see Harry talking to a snake?" Hermione asked.

"Well yeah..." I said, puzzled. "He was just telling the snake to stay away from Justin."

Ron and Hermione exchanged glances. They were whispering something to each other.

"What is it?" Harry asked.

"Harry you can speak parseltoungue. And, I think Y/n can too." Hermione said.

"What!?" I shrieked. "I do not!"

"I know, I've done it once before." Harry exclaimed.

Hermione's eyes widened.

"When I was at the Dursleys, at the zoo, I let the snake out by accident. But so what? I bet loads of people here can do it." Harry shrugged.

"No, they can't, it's not a very common gift , Harry." Hermione bit her lip. "This is bad!"

"Whats bad?" I asked, stunned. "If Harry didn't tell that snake not to attack Justin-"
