Blaze and I have been texting back forth for a while. He wants to hang out again today. It's been a few days since he slept over but neither of us really talked about it.
I figured it was a personal issue and I didn't wanna bring it up in case he didn't feel comfortable talking about it.
I was finishing getting dressed waiting for Blaze to come pick me up. We were gonna go to the arcade again and maybe hang out at my house and watch some movies and chill. He's a great friend and I'm glad I have him and Hayden in my life. But it still felt weird hanging out with a guy like him, I never thought in a million years someone like that would talk to me.

I pulled up into her driveway and texted her letting her know I was here. We've been talking for a few days and not once has she tried to use me or make me feel like she was just hanging around me to look cool. She still keeps insisting on paying me back from our first trip to the mall but I didn't want her money. Having a friend was all I needed right now, but there's days where I wanna tell her about my problems but I just can't. She'd probably freak out and never talk to me again.
My door opened up and Alexis got inside.
"Hey." I greeted her. She looked nice today, she was very chill when it came to dressing up which is good.
"Hey..how are you?" She asked as she buckled herself in.
"Pretty good, how about you?" I asked as I backed out of her driveway.
"Fine I guess..just glad we're on break and everything. What are you doing for Christmas?"
I chewed on my lip nervously. I don't really like Christmas, no one in my family does and not to mention I gotta see my dad which I'm already dreading.
"Uh family stuff.." I lied. But she wouldn't understand.
"I feel you. I gotta see my mom and her new husband aka my step dad, and I'm not to happy about it. It just gets annoying after a while." I glanced over at her and she didn't seem to happy about it so it must be something she's uncomfortable with.
"Yeah that's exactly how it is. My dad comes around and tries to start shit with me all the time. He makes it a competition between me and my brother." He likes to compare our powers and see whose better, and of course Cole is. It's to the point where I don't even wanna be home when he is.
"Really? I bet that sucks. But you guys are just brothers who are literally exactly the same so what seems to be his problem?" She has no idea.
"It's complicated but it goes way beyond just being brothers. We're different in so many ways."
