I recently visited
A place I once knewOn days when it poured
On evenings when it blizzard
I would travel to a barren land
And sit aloneOne day when it pelted
Much heavier then before
A baby black blob appeared
And sat on my lapJust as soaked as I was
She curled close to my belly
Didn't even move an inch
When I wrapped my arms
Around herWe both sat in silence
Except for the roar of the rain
And her soft tiny rumbles
That warmed meIt's been quite a while
Sense those days all alone
That depressing bare land
Now overflows with lifeThe diminutive dark blob
Is now a big black panther
And although I left
She never forgot meShe showed me the way
To the place where I sat
When she showed me the warmth
In the days when it was cold-A. Dream
