I woke suddenly. I kept my eyes closed and realised I was still on the couch. Slowly, I opened my eyes. And screamed.
A pair of big, greeny-blue eyes stared at me.
Their owner was wildly giggling.
"Darcy! You scared me!" I told her, laughing now that I knew it was just Darcy.
"Good morning, Schoee!" she screeched happily.
"Good morning, Darcy," I replied, picking her up and taking her to the kitchen. I sang "So Long And Thanks For All The Fish" from The HitchHikers Guide To The Galaxy. She clapped along.
I put some toast in the toaster and sat Darcy down on a chair. I sat across from her.
"What do you want to do until Mummy comes?" I asked her.
"Dance!" she giggled a reply.
I picked her up and we twirled around the kitchen.
Hope you enjoyed! I watched The HitchHikers Guide To The Galaxy today in school. It was confusing, but I was one of the few who actually enjoyed it. I recommend it!!!
