She Was Embarrassed
Zoe's POV
"So, how do you like my new TV?" Alfie asked as I sat down on his couch. I had arrived at his apartment about half-an-hour ago.
I pretended to scrutinise it, as if I was a television critic or something (do they actually exist?).
"Hmm... Alfie Deyes, I say that your TV is... satisfactory," I announced.
"What a relief," he sighed, making me laugh.
"Hmm, are you sure the TV's good?" he said after we had sat in silence for about 5 minutes. Why is he so worried about what I think of his TV?
Is he going to ask me to move in with him?
"Don't be silly, Zo," I mumbled to myself.
"Huh?" he looked confused.
"No-nothing! The TV's fantastic!" I stumbled on my words.
He continued to stare at me in confusion.
"Umm, could I have a cup of tea?" I asked meekly.
"Sure," he said as he stood up, still looking at me strangely. I really couldn't blame him. "I'll be right back."
"Okay," I said quietly. I switched on his new TV. I hadn't been watching it for 30 seconds when my phone lit up with a call from my chummy.
"Hey, Lou-" I started to say.
"Darcy's gone missing!" she cried, in hysterics.
------
Hey hey hey! I'm baaaack!! Did you miss me?
Fun Fact: when I came up with the idea for this fanfic, I planned for Louise to call while Zo and Alf were at Starbucks, but anyway!
Also, the next chapter will probably be the last, sadly. And I don't think I'm gonna write a sequel.
Xoxo, stay fabulous!
