Chapter 6 - confront

"Valewie!" Nico woke me up and I groaned. I look around and realized that I fell asleep in the sofa. "Daddy said he wants to talk to you." He said in his high pitched voice.

"Okay I'm coming." I got up. I rubbed my eyes as I walk towards the stairs. I successfully walked up the stairs without falling down, since I was walking like a drunk girl.

I arrived at mom and dad's room, and I opened it and seen the two of them lying down, with dad shirtless, talking as if there's something serious.

They both looked at me as soon as I arrived, and I gave them a questioned face.

"What?"

My dad sighed, "Your school called us this morning."

"Then?"

The two of them looked at each other and I now know what they're thinking.

My mom took a deep breath, "Why did you lashed out at your teacher?" Lash out really?! I can't remember the last time I did that.

"I did not lash out at her!!" I protested.

"Oh really what did you exactly do?" My dad raised an eyebrow.

"Look....Alex and I-"

"Alex?" My dad raised his eyebrow again and my mom nodded. I couldn't speak. My dad face palmed, "How many times do I have-"

"Zac...I'll handle this." My mom stopped him and I nodded. She stood up, "Come on."

We went outside and then to my room. We made sure that there was only the two of us.

"Would you mind telling me what happened?" She asked in a gentle way. "Okay," I took a deep breath, "Alex and I were talking during class. Then she caught us. But earlier, I slipped and hit my face on the floor. All the students laughed including her-"

"So you and Alex were the ones who started it?" My mom raised her eyebrow and I nodded. "We weren't exactly like shouting or whatever-"

"But still, you already know the rules of school. No talking during your class hours." She told me and I rolled my eyes.

"Fine." I walk out and seen my dad standing in front of me. "What dad?" I look at him in the eye. I bet he's still mad at me.

His frown slowly turned into a smile, "Just promise to never do it again okay?" He said. He's so weird.

"Fine." I smirked. "Friends again?" He smiled and I smiled back. "Yep." We both let our pinkies meet before parting ways.

"So, your dad confronted you?"

"No not really. He was just....kind of mad by the fact that...you know. What I did." I replied and she nodded.

"Hey guys." Alex arrived and he sat down beside me. He always do that. "Uhh hi Alex." I smiled.

As soon as he was able to settle down, he started eating his food. I looked at Nicole, who signaled me to tell him what happened this morning. I took a deep breath. "Uhh Alex? I have something to tell you."

He looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "What?"

I sighed. "The school called my parents last night and...he got bad at me for what I did last night." His jaw hung open and he became speechless. "Really? I'm so sorry!"

"No. No. Don't mind it. I'm just telling you this because," I paused, "I just wanted you to know."

"Thank you." He smiled before nodding again but I could see in his eyes that he's so not okay.

"Hey Efron." I turn around and seen Julian and his gang laughing at me.

"Valerie." Alex grabbed something from my back and showed it to me. It's a gum.

I glared at Julian who was laughing. I got up to confront but Alex pulled me back.

"Hey. Don't mind them." He whispered and I nod. I instead followed his orders.
