Twilight Saga Fan Fiction: The Beginning of New Chapter to Alice and Jasper

Chapter 5- A Long Time Waiting

We spend days and nights just to finish everything. From the wedding hall to the design, from the color of table cloth from the color of the lights we should use, all this things were settled. Also, my wedding dress and all of the attires we need to use were all finished. Rosalie and Bella finished them today exactly before tomorrow. We also accomplished the final fit for the dress, and Rosalie was repairing it now. On the other hand, Esme, Carlisle and Emmett was on the garage with Bella. They are helping her to finish all the unsettled things.

 Renesmee was with me, on our room. I asked Bella if I could sleep tonight with Nessie because Jazz was not there. Like Esme said, it is a traditional way that a groom shouldn't see his bride the day before the wedding. Jazz was with Edward now, before they left, Edward promised us that they will come exactly on time tomorrow.

  "I'm sorry my dear.. you're not sleeping with your momma and daddy today." I said to Nessie while I am combing her hair. We are sitting on the bed and Nessie was watching TV. She smiled at me as she held my hand.

  "No, aunt Alice. Its okay. Honestly, I like staying up here!" she said.

I laughed at her childish and simple response. I continue combing her hair.

  "Aunt Alice? Where's uncle Jasper by the way?" Nessie asked suddenly.

"Nessie, my dear, your uncle Jazz was not staying with here today. Your daddy was with him."

Nessie looked confused. "What? Where are they?"

"I don't know dear, but they are just around us."

"Why do they have to leave?"

"Its just today. Tomorrow, before the wedding, your daddy and uncle will be there."

"Ah." Nessie nodded.

We sat there for a minute in silence. Honestly, we cannot open any discussions now. I am nervous as I heard Emmett's voice coming in the garage. I listened for them for a while.

  "Wait! Its not there!" Emmett shouted.

"Huh? I think I get it. You are wrong, Em." Carlisle answered.

"Finish those things now, Bella. Wait, let me help you there." Esme said, entering the garage again.

"Sure, sure, Esme." Bella said.

I saw Emmett leave the garage for a while. Then he goes back with a box. When he opened it, I saw different lights, maybe, they are putting it now. Esme and Carlisle follow Emmett, and lastly, Bella was fixing something inside the garage.

I looked at Renesmee, who was sleeping now with her favorite teddy bear, given by Jacob. I studied her face for a while. Suddenly, I remember someone because of her, and she looks like an angel, she looks like Edward in so many ways. No doubt, she was his daughter.

Many things played in my mind as I sat in the chair beside the bed. When I faced the front side, there was a mirror, from there, I saw my true self. I looked at the mirror for a moment, and I realized that I wasn't changing at all. From my childhood days, to my adolescent day, to my vampire life... I realized that nothing changes in me. Inside and out.

For a short moment, I didn't know myself at all. Even I looked how many times in that clear mirror in front of me, I was suddenly forgetful about everything. This was weird. I haven't feel it for quite a long time, but only today, only tomorrow. This night would be my farewell to myself as a Cullen. Tomorrow, whether I like it or not, I have no choice; but to be a new Hale in this family. Doesn't it make sense? Who cares if I will be a Hale? I imagine that after that wedding day, I am no longer like this, I will be changed in so many ways.... it was like starting again.

I was suddenly distracted as I heard doorknocks. I raised from my seat and quickly opened the door. It was Rosalie, who was smiling as she entered the room.

   "Hey," she called. She sat in the sofa and looks at Nessie.

"So, you are babysitting her?" Rosalie asked.

I smiled as I sat beside her and I switched the TV off. Now, we can talk without any distractions.

"Nope, I just asked Bella if Nessie would sleep here. You know, I can't stay alone without Jazz, or someone. " I answered.

  "Really? But wait... tell me, what do you feel now?"

"Hmm.... its weird, actually. I can't feel myself."

"That's normal. Congratulations!"

"Oh, can I see my wedding dress now?"

Rosalie stucked her tongue like a five-year-old child. "That's unfair! You will see it tomorrow."

  "Tomorrow?! Ugh, I hate you!"

"Sorry, my dear sister. I am doing this because it was Esme's order."

Rosalie was interrupted because Emmett quickly entered the room. He was holding his backpack now. Maybe he was leaving now with Carlisle.

  "Sorry for interrupting you, guys. I will just say goodbye. Carlisle and I will follow Edward and Jazz. Oh, and Alice, we already finished the hall. Any word you want to say to Jazz?" Emmett asked, looking at us.

  I smiled. "Nothing. Just take him back on time."

Emmett smiled back. "Sure, I am assigned to drive the car for tomorrow. Don't worry."

"Now go. Maybe Carlisle was looking at you now. Bye guys." I said.

Emmett smiled as he hugged Rosalie before leaving us in the room. "Yes, see you tomorrow."

And he closed the door. Rosalie raised from her seat now.

  "Well, I guess.. you should try to rest now. I am expecting you tomorrow. Goodnight."

I smiled.

  "Yes, thanks again, Rose. Please tell that to Esme and Bella, and Carlisle, especially to Em and you. Don't forget that."

"Sure, sure. See you tomorrow."

She opened it and just a second, she disappeared now in my sight.
