RM had brought us to his headquarters. I was ordered to rest by the doctor. My wounds were healing quickly at least. It's been a few hours since we came here and yet I'm unsure of where Tae is since they needed to stabilize me. I hope RM isn't treating him poorly. The reason why I haven't joined his rebel group yet is because we don't entirely see eye to eye on the vampire matter. He doesn't trust any of them. No matter what. Whereas I know that's not right. There had to be more like Tae out there... Right?

I was happy that I didn't get injured for nothing. The blood I got from Crimson might be the key to freeing those she turned. Some scientists that work for RM are working on a type of cure. The turned won't be able to be human again but they can at least be free. I got up slowly not wanting to reopen my wounds. A scientist walked into the room.

"Oh, good you're up!" She was the one in charge of working with the DNA I took. "Everyone is occupied I was wondering if you were up for a task."

"Depends on the task" I said as I stood up. She was quite nice considering how much pressure she is always under. I always appreciated her work and was always willing to give her an extra helping hand when necessary.

"I'm missing some information here. What I need is in the library. I can't leave the lab for more then a few minutes."

"Yeah sure I can do that." I was tired of being in bed by now. Doing an easy task like this will do me some good. She sent me the book title to my phone, and I was on my way.

As I walked down the halls I passed by what seemed to be interrogation rooms. I could hear loud voices coming from one of them. It was Tae and RM. I stood next to the door so that I could be in earshot.

"I don't trust you!" RM yelled

"I don't know what you need me to do to prove that I'm not like the others!"

"We tested the DNA in some of Jimin's wounds and you're responsible for two of them. And honestly a bite is worse then a scratch!"

Tae sighs loudly trying to keep calm.

"I already told you that they were both done with Jimin's permission. I've been honest with you and told you the whole story. If I were a liar, I would still deny biting him. There's nothing more I can say!"

"And how do I know it was his choice? You most definitely could have charmed him!" RM was being thorough as usual.

I didn't want to interrupt. RM is the type of man to not trust anyone until he's decided to do so on his own. I wouldn't be able to convince him either.

"I guess you'll just need to have a bit of faith." Tae added.

"It's not that eas-"

I walked away. I knew they would both get over their differences.

My walk to the library was pleasant. Of course, it was raining when I was out of the underground, but the breeze was nice. The building was historical and beautiful. When I walked inside I was greeted by the robot that took care of the library.

"What book are you interested in today sir." it said as it always does.

I scanned my phone with the book name at the desk.

"Ah, the book of diseases. Very interesting. I will be right back with it." it said and left to get the book I wanted.

As I stood there I took in my surroundings. So many books in one place. It was a sight to see. I was surprised there was someone else at the far end sitting at a table reading. He had pale hair and was surrounded by books piled up around him. He must have been sucked into what he was reading to be here so late. My thoughts were interrupted by a voice behind me.

"Good to see you again."

I looked at her. Her eyes weren't red this time because of the lights. Why was she here?

"Don't call out for help and don't move." I knew she had me in her grasp now. Her commands were too powerful.

"If V wants to play games, I'll show him how to play for real." she grinned.

She pointed her long and delicate finger at me and tapped the center of my head. My vision blurred until the world around me disappeared.

She had me.

...

When I came to, my wrists hurt. The room I was in was a bedroom with black and red tones.

I looked up and saw my wrists were cuffed and chained to the ceiling. Beside me were other people. They looked dead.

No. They were changing.

Her voice grabbed my attention. She was sitting at the foot of her extravagant bed. Wearing black silk and lace robes. She glared at me. Her smile revealing her perfect fangs.

"Are you ready to play?"
