{Tyler POV}
I told Josh about the tears, it hit home with him for some reason. His tears are beautiful glistening rainbows. He must have a tortured soul. Maybe it's part of the secrets he keeps. Anyways... I love it here. I'm not weird, I'm normal here. I don't even hear the voices either! I feel happy and not depressed and I don't want to die, (though I guess I'm the equivalent of dead....)
I look around at my surroundings, the beautiful scenery, the rolling green hills, the beautiful teal sky, the pure white clouds. Fun fact: Here the stars are only shining and there is no night. I sighed and looked at Josh, he look concerned and bored. He sat on the ground drawing on the sand. I sat across from him, sitting Indian style while resting my head on my fist. I tilted my head at him and watched him with a creepy smile. He didn't notice and couldn't help but giggle at him. He looked up, "What?"
I grinned, "Nuthin." Josh narrowed his eyes at me as to say, 'Something is suspicious here....'
I wiggled my eyebrows at him. And he frowned and shook his head. I continued to wiggle my eyebrows and make goofy grins at him and he cracked a little bit of his smile, I had appropriately deemed: Dunshine.
"What has you in such a good mood?" He groaned.
"This place," I leaned back and tucked my arms behind my head, "It makes me happy. I'm just the average joe here. Not a weirdo in desperate need of being sent to a mental hospital." I smiled up at the sky and smiled widely. "No voices, no pain, just good feelings and happiness."I looked over at Josh who was warily quiet. "What's gotten you in the dumps?"
He sighed, "I don't feel like I belong here. That's all."
"Awe, come here." I gestured for him to scoot closer. I wrapped my arm around his shoulders. "Sometimes we don't belong somewhere. But we still have to make the best of it. You will be back to Earth soon enough. Don't worry, you have me to keep you company." I offered him a smile.
His bowed his head and sighed, "Okay."
I jumped up, "Let's go exploring!" I looked around at the surroundings. Josh stood up and dusted off himself, following me. We walked up the beautiful green, grassy hill. When we reached the peak, the sight was beautiful.
"Woah." Josh's mouth was slack.
"You're sayin'." I couldn't believe they were real. We walked down the large hill and at the base we came to what was making our eyeballs fall from our eye sockets.
"H-hello." I nervously said. "I- I'm Tyler and this is Josh." I pointed at Josh with my thumb. The creature looked at me with big, dark eyes.
"Welcome to the afterlife." It blinked, white film covering its eyes when it did. "Who is this?" I asked, referring to the creature in its care. "Malaki." It said. "It looks like a unicorn. And you look like an alien from space." Josh said, practically drooling. The dark eyed creature blinked, "If that's what you Earth-Relms think, so be it."
The Alien turned back to the unicorn lightly petting its sparkly rainbow hair. The unicorn looked me in the eye, its gaze almost human like. "Hey lil guy." I held my hand out and the unicorn smelt it. It rubbed its head on my hand and I scratched between its ears.
"Is it a girl or a boy?" Josh curiously asked. The alien looked at him, his face ever blank, "Its a male, boy as you say, there are never female 'unicorns' only the horses." Josh and I looked at each other, our eyes wide with wonder. "Woah." We said in unison. The Alien started to walk forward the unicorn following it. We followed them, they walked for a while till in the distance we saw a beautiful crystal mansion.When we arrived at the front door the Alien, (whom we hadn't asked its name) knocked twice. The magnificent doors swung open and a young man with a beautiful smile stood there. "Welcome children of the Earth." The man said. "The names Michael." His voice held a posh British accent.
"Hello." I replied.
"Hey." Josh chimed.
