In the cell the now six boys still sat in silence, staring either at the door on the floor. All of them afraid of that door opening, and another one being taken away. All of their stomach's were growling, but no one was listening, all ears was focused on trying to hear steps coming. And when they did hear heavy steps, they all cowered, crawling back slightly. The door opened, a guard with a torch coming inside, looking at them all.
"Get up on your feet" he spoke, his voice stern. Jerome was the first one to get up, helping Quiff up and holding around his waist to assist him. The TBNR clan also getting up, both helping Generzon up on his feet and holding their arms around him so he wouldn't fall. Woof too stood, slowly but surely. He didn't trust his own legs, but he stood by himself. The guard looked at the weak group, no emotion showing in his eyes, then he motioned them to follow him.
They walked and limped forward, following the guard up some stairs and through several corridors. All six of them was scared, terrified even, as they had no clue what would happen. They were all sure they were going to their own execution, and only got confused when the guard opened a door and motioned for them to get inside. They followed his command, and together they got inside.
"Gen?" a sudden voice came, and soon a pair of arms took him away from the TBNR clan, she holding him tightly as they both fell to the floor, neither of them caring at all.
"Char!" Generzon exclaimed in joy, kissing her at once. The happiness shared between the two making everyone in the room smile widely. Doni, Shot and Bionic was quick to their feet and rushed up to the group and embraced them.
"Is Bajan okay?" Jerome asked, his voice worried as the room fell silent.
"I'm sorry" Shot mumbled, the shapeshifters hope quickly turning to sorrow.
"Biggums..." he whispered, a tear falling down his cheek.
"He will get a honorable ceremony, if you so wish" the new queen spoke, wanting to make sure that she helped them somehow. Jerome said nothing to reply, he was already crying over his lost friend. He didn't even know what he wanted, he just wanted his best friend by his side.
"Where's Laake? Can I see Laake?" Quiff asked, holding onto Jerome who now was crying into his shoulder.
"Laake is fine, he is probably half way back to the Swamp city as we speak" Pwincessly promised.
"Can we go home?" Jerome sobbed out, not turning from the shoulder he cried into.
"Yes, we can drive you home at the same time as Shot" Char promised after standing up and getting her boyfriend off the floor as well. "But first I think you should all come to the hospital wing and get healed" she then added, holding an arm around Gen.
