That night a carriage full with the nine boys left the castle. They all had been healed fully with the potions in the hospital wing, and fed in the dining room of the castle. It was already dark outside, but for the first time in a very long time the darkness didn't bother the young boys. They were all just looking out on the road, seeing the cities they passed by.

First stop was by Bionic's home, where he jumped off, wishing all farewell, before walking up to the house he had grown up in. He stared at the house, seeing how the light's were turned off. He knocked at the door, waiting on the steps for just a few moments, but no one seemed to come to open it.

"Bionic?" A sudden voice came from the street, and Bionic was greeted by his mothers friend. "I'm so sorry for your loss my child" Bionic didn't understand what she meant at first. But when he did he had no idea what to feel.

"W-When?" he stuttered out, lost of what else to say.

"Soon after you and your brother left. Executed for letting you flee" she explained to him calmly, a sad smile on her face as a tear fell down her wrinkled cheek.

Bionic had no idea what to do at that point. All seemed so lost. He had lost everything he had ever had, his family and his old friends, to the hand of the king.

That night Bionic spent alone in his old home, crying over what he had lost without knowing what else to do. But he did know he was determined on doing his best for his home town, for his own family. He would make them proud, that was his one wish.

Next city they passed was Hypixel, where Shot cheerfully jumped off by his house smiling to his new friends and waving them goodbye. He knocked on the wooden door, waiting only a couple of seconds before it was opened by his little sister, who had grown a lot since the last time he saw her.

"Shot?" she asked, looking at him with wide eyes.

"It's really me Josie" he promised, holding his arms out. She ran right into them and they shared a hug.

"I missed you so much, I've been so worried, we've all been" she explained, acting more mature than you would expect a 10 year old to be.

"I missed you too, I'm so sorry for leaving without telling you" Shot replied as the two walked into the house, closing the door behind them. And soon he was sitting around the dinner table together with his whole family, all drinking tea and talking about everything that had happened. All just happy to be together with the whole family once again.

The carriage then arrived at Performium, where Doni was let out by the mayor's house instead of his own. He smiled as he walked up to the door and knocked, his dear friend opening a few moments later and inviting him inside.

"Honey, look who finally came back" Rga shouted into the house while cheerfully bringing Doni to the livingroom were his wife and daughter was sitting and reading together.

"Doni, I haven't seen you in so long. We were really worried for you" the mayor's wife explained, standing up from the couch to hug him.

"I missed you too, and oh do I have a story for you" Doni explained with a smile as he hugged her. "And look who grew up" he then added as he went up to his best friend's daughter. "You probably don't even remember me, but I'm Uncle Doni Bobes" he then told the young girl with a wide smile over his face.

"She's only two Doni, she don't really speak much yet" Rga commented, lifting his daughter up into his arms, her laugh's filling the air.

"Dada" she said, poking her father's nose. "Doni" she then added turning around in Rga's arms and poking Doni's cheek.

"That's right little one, I'm Uncle Doni" Doni smiled brightly as he greeted the little girl.

And when the time was right, they all one by one got back to their normal lives, well somewhat normal.

Doni took his place as the police chief, and even got an office in the capital.

Jerome got a new job as the head of the royal guard, working side by side with the queen at all times.

Char and Gen moved in together in a big house in the sky city, where they lived their lives happily side by side.

Bionic took the mayor office in the Mine City, and did everything in his power for all to live a good fair life.

Woofless became a doctor, working in the flower kingdom, but travelled around a lot to save as many as possible.

Quiff and Laake both stayed in the Swamp city, Laake taking the Mayor's office after his parents, and Quiff working closely by his side.

Frags and Kenworth both got back into working on their clan, making it a better group.

And lastly, Shot went back to school, many of his classmates was gone, but some was still there, and he never wished that he had asked for another thing then going back home to his normal life, well, maybe when there was tests he had to study for or when he had to do his homework...

In the end, they moved on from what they had been through. But they never forgot, how could they? Their whole lives had been turned upside down, and many of their friends and families had lost their lives.

Some things would never change for any of them, and they couldn't pretend it would. They would never be able to look at things the same way again, but they still lived on. They often reminded people about what had happened, those dreadful years, they wanted everyone to always remember what had happened so that it never would happen again.
