Chapter 15

(A/n ayyy how art thou fam)

Iris pov (because we haven't had her in a while, what's in her mind?)

Keira looks like she's gonna pass out any second, that's a known fact. We all know it, keira has always been the one to go to sleep early and wake up early, compared to me at least.

I sip a small bit of the situation called dinner in front of me. Keira yawns. We end up striking up a conversion about different kinds of plants and animals.

"Venus fly traps are queen of all plant and you know it"

We talk for a while longer about irrelevant crap. Adelyn gets up and grabs her bowl.

"Welp im gonna go wash up and get in some more comfortable clothes." Adelyn says trotting off, not before placing her bowl In the kitchen, Adelyn comes back and then keira and Justyce go as well and get dressed. Keira goes and talks to Uillinn and goes back to her room and passes out, as expected.

I take a long deep yawn. I usually don't go to bed or fall asleep until about twelve pm but for some reason I'm super tired. Maybe this power thing makes us more tired.

"Jesus why are we so tired? It's barley even eleven earth time" Adelyn says stretching out her legs on to the free space on her couch.

"Your powers, they drain energy twice as much as normal running or jumping. Now girls I recommend you guys rest up or at least try and get some sleep, I know this whole event happening again is stressful but we can get through this!" Uillinn says walking down the hallway to her room.

"Well, I think that's our cue to go to sleep. G'night guys" Justyce says getting up in sync with Adelyn.

"Night guys"

"Goodnight"

I walk to my room, I kick off my loose fitting shoes and flop down on the bed. I don't care if I'm uncomfortable I just want sleep. I soon dose off into a deep slumber.

I my eyes flicker open. I expected to be at home in my bed with my alarm clock screaming, but I was soon brought back to reality. I sluggishly roll out of bed. I step out of the room and into the bathroom. I turn on the faucet and a gush of water comes out and nearly makes the small wooden barrel connected to the wall that was acting as the bowl of the sink fall off. I immediately turn off the faucet and I am left with a small pool of water on the barrel. I take my hands and clean my face. I decide not to use my powers so I can preserve my energy.

I walk out to the lounge and see Justyce on the couch drinking something out of a mug.

"Good morning" Justyce says, taking a long sip.

"Morning, I'm guessing you couldn't sleep?"

"How did you guess?" Justyce exclaimed sarcastically.

She had visible eye bags and there wasn't a Wrinkle in her clothes that she had put on the night before.

We continued to talk about irrelevant things until a the others where up.

"Hey where is Uillinn?" Adelyn brought up abruptly. The room went silent for a minute to ponder, the only noise was the soft rustling of leaves from outside.

We began looking in each room for Uillinn, the house was quite Barron of other life despite us four. We plumped ourselves down onto the antique lounge receptacles in defeat.
