Chapter 18

The Bug III

Adelyns pov

"It was a stupid bug! Why would you do that to your selves? I probably would have been fine!" I expressed.
"No, Adelyn. You could have died. You should be thanking them!" Uillinn intervened.
"Just because I could have doesn't mean I would have! Look at yourselves, why would you do that!" I spouted. I stood up and stood my ground.
"Adelyn! We did it because we love you, I love you, Justyce and Keira love you, even Uillinn Loves you! We couldn't loose you!" Iris said.
I froze there. What was I doing? This isn't me!
Why am I doing this?
"You're not in control anymore!"
A deep voice echoed in my head.
"Come on girls, stop fighting! We should be on our way now!" Uillinn said, budding out way in between our quarrel.
We journeyed out, tension filled the air as we stepped onto the beautiful carriage. Two white horses in front with a large rabbit as the coachmen.
"Greetings lady's, I am Gillard, I will be your coachmen for the next few days! We will stop for the night at Ten PM and resume riding at ten AM so be ready. Feel free to make yourselves comfortable. I will take your bags for you!" The small Rabbit said opening a back storage area of the crystal white transit. He stowed away our bags and hopped back onto his coachmen perch.
We entered the gorgeous vehicle. It had six maroon velvet seats facing each other with a table in the middle. There was four windows, all displaying the sunny yet cold outside. There was a  few storage places that I assume had refreshments and comfort items. We get settled in and with a crack of a whip we where off.
Again, the tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife.
"I- I'm sor-" I was cut off by a strain in my voice.
Why can't I act myself!
"Don't apologize! They want you dead!"
That voice again...
The others looked at me confused. I just awkwardly looked away.
"So, uh, tell me about this King Tee guy!" Keira awkwardly butted in.
" He is a magical man! He rules over the whole land, he conquered his brothers and his father in a battle for the throne. He's ruled for 89 years, best years of my life!" Uillinn vented.
"I have some books on him, if you would like to know more!" Uillinn said, excitedly.
"No that should be okay,"
Uillinn crouched down and began going trough the storage compartments. She found a green glass bottle filled with what presumably was some kind alcohol of She poured herself a glass and downed it within ten seconds.
"Um okay, where is my glass?" Iris joked, trying to light the mood,
Boy was that a bad idea.
"Young lady, this isn't some American Breakfast! This is a dangerous substance!" Uillinn said, pouring another glass.
"How is it dangerous? it's Iced tea ," Iris objected.
"This is not tea! This is Memory Essence, It can help you remember any day of your life!" Uillinn said, blissfully.
Iris took the green bottle and smelt it, she flinched backward but took a small sip.
"We have your consent to be drinking this? you know, so we don't get in trouble?" Iris said, inspecting the bottle.
"Yes, I'll get more glasses. Now remember, this is dangerous stuff!" she said, reaching into the small compartment. "yeah yeah"She pulled out four more glasses.

"Now beware, this stuff isn't purely tea, you need to choose a date you want to visit. Now I will see you all in an hour. Uillinn said. She closed her eyes and seemed to fall to a deep, deep, deep, slumber.

"I don't wa-" I start to say but I am cut off, by myself!
"Actually I'd love  glass!" I say in a deep tone. What? I don't want any!!!

Iris took the honor of pouring us all glasses and handing them out. The glass was cold against my warm fingers. I stared down at the fawn liquid and it stared back at me. My reflection smiled at me and made cutting motions with its long spindly fingers. Iris reached out for a toast and with out telling myself to, i was already cheesing the group. They happily chatted and drank their drinks leisurely. Everything was muted, i could only hear faint laughter from the back of my head. I shuttered as the Metallic drink entered my body.  Suddenly my vision became hazy and room darkened into nothing.
