Chapter 13

A/N I forgot to mention this but the bathrooms are like old Japanese bath houses not modern bathrooms

Keira's pov

I walked into the woods after Uillinn released us, I walked until I found a decent clearing. I sat down on the snow, how am I supposed to practice my abilities if I have no access to the ground.

"Need some help?"

"Huh"

Justyce emerged from the woods and chuckled.

"Here ya go!" Justyce said and within a second all the snow around me was gone and the grass was access able.

"Wow, How are you so good at this?"  I asked in awe.

"You just focus up all your anger and release it using your powers," She reply's semi seriously.

I try, I focus all the rage from the years of my life and then I remember when we where attack by him and I instantly get angry. Ok release it, I release it and one of the trees fly up!

"Yes! I did it!" I bloat to Justyce. I just realized my tail was wagging, I'm not used to that.

"Ha Ha, welp I'm gonna go 'practice' see ya!" Justyce says walking off.

I try again, I think of pride-phobic people, I think of abuse, I think about all the stuff going on at earth and I'm not there to save it! I take one long breath in, and release. A tree a few feet away yanks itself off the ground.

"Oh my god! I did it again!" I yell to no one.

I try again and again and it keeps working.

"What am I gonna do now?"  

I look around.  I walk over to one of the trees and sit down. The ground is cold as ice, I shiver. I stand up and grab onto on of the tree limbs and try to climb up, I fall down and cut my arm on a rock.

"What is with me and constantly getting hurt!" I yell in frustration.  I try to get back on but fail again. I get angry. That's it! Use the anger. I use the anger to warp one of the tree branches down so I can get on it and it works. I climb up the tree and sit in one of the branches. Soon the seconds turn to minutes and I find my self dosing off to sleep.

I wake up to Uillinn calling us over and a get down and walk back to the cottage. We all climb onto the roof and sit down. Adelyn goes first and does a dance thing. I go up and lift a tree and make To leaves grow a bit more. Uillinn snuck a quick smirk at me before calling up iris. I zone out until we are done and go inside.

" all did wonderful! I know you guys think you can't do it, but we know you can and you guys are doing a wonderful job!" Uillinn says with pride in her voice.

"Who's we" Adelyn says.

"The people of this world and the other world to, now you all must be famished! Let me fix you guys some soup and rice!" Uillinn says  disappearing into the kitchen.

I lean back and close my eyes, my ears slicked back and my tail between my legs.

"I think it's easy to say we are all exhausted" iris says chuckling. We all nod in agreement.

I open my eyes and stare into the wood fire in the room, I stare deeply In the wood. It hurts me to look at the wood burning like that , I look away quickly and fix my posture so I don't look like a hillbilly. Uillinn comes out with some soup and rice. In a big wooden pot. She gives us each a wooden bowl and a spoon.

"I hope you all enjoy! I'm gonna be in the library if you need me, this is your house now you can do whatever you need, you don't have to ask me! Toot a loo!" Uillinn says walking off.

"Soooo how did your "training" do Justyce?" I ask and laugh a little.

"Shut up your just jealous because i can use my powers better," she laughed as her fingers lit fire one by one.

"Wanna bet?" Keira says sitting up, the small potted cacti next to me slowly warped itself into a had shaped creature. Woah I didn't know i could do that that quickly!

"We are meant to work together nit against each other , no stop t before we get in trouble!" Adelyn said half yelling and half sarcastic.

I pick up my wood carved spoon an examine how well carved it is, wow. I dip the spoon the the soup and nudge a little rice in it and taste it. It taste amazing. It's rich and provides a perfect texture. Dare i say it but it may be better then peanut butter itself!

"This is amazing!" Iris says motioning towards the soup put in the middle of the balsa wood table.

"Mhm! I surprised I like it because I'm super picky with textures and taste" I say taking another mouthful.

"Really, I'm surprised!" Justyce says looking at me slyly. Top

I flip her off and eat another mouthful,
Then I pick up my bowl and make a really annoying mouth noise just to annoy them.

We keep eating and talking for about twenty five minutes.

"Welp im gonna go wash up and get in some more comfortable clothes." Adelyn says getting up and placing the bowl in the kitchen before walking off.

Adelyn walks back with some black and white striped joggers and a mint green flowy top that was tucked in at the front, she had also took her hair down so it was covering her shoulders.

"Wow Miss fancy coming through, she says she's wearing comfy clothes but comes in like a fashion model" Justyce says jokingly.

"Oh shut up! I have to look half presentable!" Adelyn said stubbornly.

"Wonder what time it is, it feels like eight thirty but I can't tell without a clock" Justyce says looking to the moon for answers, like she could tell the time by looking at the moon.

I yawn and then the yawn gets passed iris then Adelyn then Justyce. Yawns really are contagious.

"I'm gonna follow in Adelyn's footsteps and go change" I say getting up and setting the bowl on the table with a satisfying clank.

"Me too," Justyce says heading to her room. I head to the room with]
the leaf symbol on the door and walk in. I plop down on the bed and take off my shoes and neatly put them next to the bed and put my Socks in them. I get up and look in the wardrobe. I see a long sleeved cotton shirt, i grab it and a pair of draw strong shorts. I put them on and lean back into the bed. Im so tired.

I decide to go get up and ask uillinn what time it is. I walk to the library and quietly step in.

"Hey uillinn, do you know what time it is we cant figure it out'" i ask and she looks back at me.

"Hhhmmm, oh its around ten t-maybe the thirty"

"Okay thank you, good night,"

"Night."

I walk back to my room and blow out the candles keeping the room lit and flop right Dow on the bed. I slowly drift off to sleep and dream of what we will do tomorrow.
