It wasn’t suppose to be like this, Abby wasn’t suppose to be sitting on the other side of the room to Luke because the cameras weren’t around, It wasn’t supposed to be like this, They both hated how they had to act all loved up in public but as soon as the door closes, it’s like they’re strangers
Abby wished she could say something to Luke, say how sorry she was for this whole situation but the silence in the room spoke louder than anything, Lukes head faced the TV, he wasn’t even watching the TV, he just wanted an excuse to not have to speak
“Dinner in 5” Abbys manager poked his head around the door, the two of them both looked at him and nodded, they couldn’t disagree otherwise both their careers were over but maybe that was better than spending their life lying to their loved ones
Luke stood up from the sofa first and made his way to his room so he could quickly sort out his hair, he didn’t even glance at Abby, it was weird to think in a matter of minutes the two of them would be holding hands and having to act like a couple
Abby stood up once Luke left the room, she felt like screaming out her feelings but it was like she couldn’t make a sound, she was trapped and she felt hopeless, She sighed and waited for Luke to appear out of his room and as soon as he did he grabbed her hand and without a word they descended outside to the public
“Where do you want to eat?” Luke asked her as they got outside and had to act like the cute couple everyone thought they was
“I don’t mind, what’s your favourite place?” Abby shrugged as they walked down the street, there was no cameras but Abby found that easier to act like they were together for some strange reason
“Don’t do this, There’s no cameras about” Luke quickly said, a tone of annoyance in his voice, he hated that you were only saying that because you had to because of this ‘relationship’ but little did he know you weren’t
“So why are you still holding my hand?” Abby snapped back, if Luke wasn’t going to be nice, she didn’t see why she should
“Fine, I won’t” He muttered sourly, letting go off Abbys hand and walking a few yards ahead of her, Luke was holding her hand because he actually had proper feelings for her and he actually cared about her not getting lost on the streets, Abby sighed, she knew she messed that up
