“So guys, how was tour?” Abby asked as they were all seated around a table in a posh restaurant, Luke and Abby sat together, holding hands for the guys to believe their relationship, Luke hated lying to his band mates and he made that clear with his closed body language to Abby
“Amazing” All of the guys said, adding words like ‘brilliant’ ‘super’ and loads more all in a ramble of their voices trying to explain how great their tour had been
“But Lukey boy here missed you” Michael added, he always liked to tease Luke about his relationship with you but Luke seemed to find it amusing sometimes because he knew it was all a lie and it was good to have one over on Michael without him realising
“Oh yeah?” Abby asked, she tried to sound casual about it but she was quite shocked Michael was saying this because she knew he wouldn’t be lying yet she hadn’t received one text from Luke while they were touring so she assumed he wasn’t interested
“Yeah, He was checking his phone to see if you had texted him every 5 minutes” Michael chuckled as he watched Lukes face go red from blushing “Lover boy” He added to Luke who was looking at his hands in his laps, obviously embarrassed because he knew you knew it was true and he was ashamed with himself to have fallen this madly in love with you
“Shut up, Mikey” Luke muttered, clearing not wanting Michael to tell Abby about how much he missed her while touring, he never expected to miss her so much but he did and he didn’t understand why when she probably never even gave him a second thouhgt
Michael just laughed and ran his hand through Lukes perfect quiff to mess it up, Luke blushed and tried to sort his hair out as the other guys reached for the menus and browsed for what they wanted to eat
“Is that true?” Abby whispered to Luke as they were hidden behind their menus, their heads close together so the boys thought they were whispering sweet stuff to each other when actually they were just having another argument
“Why should you care?” Luke snapped back at you in a small whisper, he was currently sick and tired of pretending, he wished he was in a relationship with Abby but why would she pick him when there was plenty of other good looking guys around who would happily be in a relationship with her?
Abby sighed and went back to looking at her menu – she didn’t understand how they could go from being a cute couple in front of the cameras to being complete idiots to each other as soon as they weren’t in the public eye
The night went well and the conversation flowed nicely, one good thing about the meal was they didn’t have to act all lovey dovey because Luke wouldn’t do that in front of his mates because he would be teased about it later and having all the 5sos guys there meant Abby didn’t have to only talk to Luke, at the end of the night the guys decided to go out clubbing to celebrate their free night so Abby decided to go back home because she didn’t want to pretend anymore and she was pretty sure Luke didn’t want her there anymore because he just wanted to have fun for one more night without having to fake a relationship
Abby now stood in the streets with the lads, her and Luke were a little bit behind the others because they knew there was cameras around and so they wanted to keep up their ‘romance’ for the cameras so they decided if they hanged back a little, it would look like they wanted to be together
“Well, I’m going to leave you guys to your night out” Abby said loud enough for all the guys to hear as she approached a taxi “I’ll see you in the tomorrow” she directed the last bit of your sentence to Luke as they quickly kissed and the guys all cheered for Luke as they kissed, she couldn’t help but laugh, she loved these guys and they were so much fun, she had to admit, today had been brilliant apart from having the relationship with Luke – if Abby and the boys were all just friends, She was pretty sure the night would have been amazing
