First night of tour

The private jet was already loaded with everyone's things and ready to take off after tonight's performance in Hollywood. The first show of tour was at The Roxy.

As the band went out to the stage, Amy and I wished them the best of luck. They band had a sold out show tonight, and I was so proud of them. They have come so far. Amy and I took our usual spots on the side of the stage and we watched the band from there.

"So, how are you and Steven?" I asked Amy during the beginning of the show.

"Oh, we're great. Steven is the best thing that's ever happened to me," Amy told me.

I smiled. "Well that's great. I'm happy for you guys," I said, and I truly was. They really seemed to be hitting it off.

"Y-you don't think we moved too quickly, did we?" Amy asked me in a low voice.

If I was being honest, yes, I do, but Amy and Steven both seem happy together, so I just laughed it off. "No, I think you're just fine as long as you're happy," I told her.

"Good. Great. Awesome," She said, and we turned our attention back to the band.

The next day, we had landed in London, England, and we were staying at one of the nicest hotels there. Or, it was definitely the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in, anyway.

"Axl, let's go sightsee," I said to him.

"Sure, doll, that sounds great. I think we should go see Big Ben, first" Axl said.

After we settled into our hotel room and relaxed for a bit, Axl and I then headed out to go see the large clock tower that watched over the city of London.

"Stand over here," Axl said, pointing to a certain spot.

I did what he said and he pulled out his little camera. I smiled. Axl took a picture and then I walked over to him to look at it.

"Okay, now your turn," I told him, pointing in the direction in which I had stood.

Axl rolled his eyes. "Okay, fine," He said. He walked over and assumed position.

"Aw, look at you," I said, admiring the picture.

"Yeah, yeah," Axl said, taking his camera back.

"Now what?" I asked, looking around the city.

"I've always wanted to ride in one of those red trolleys," Axl said, pointing at one that was passing by.

"Let's take one somewhere, then."

We found a trolley stop and waited for the next one to show up. We got on and took it to the next trolley stop, not really knowing where we were going or what we were getting into. We ended up on a street full of small boutiques, so we decided to look around.

We held hands and started down the street. I had stopped for a moment so I could sniff some flowers sitting out at a flower shop, and Axl just admired from afar. We walked in and out of some shops, Axl spoiling me with some new clothing and gifts here and there. I really think I could get used to this kind of life, I thought.

"Hey, check this out," Axl said while we were in one of the shops. He put on a purple, sparkly cowboy hat and I laughed at him.

"I think it suits you," I told him, "You should wear it on stage sometime."

"Nah," He said, taking the hat off and putting it on my head, "I think it suits you better, doll."

After looking around in stores, we decided to make our way to Abbey Road, which was huge for me. I love The Beatles, and this was probably one of my favorite albums. I told Axl about this, and he complimented my taste. I couldn't even begin to explain to him how much of a dream come true this trip has been for me so far.

"Shall we cross together, lovely Lucy?" Axl asked, holding out his arm.

I smiled and took it. "We shall."

We walked across the cross walk and I had to admit, it was a slightly underwhelming experience, but still very cool. We crossed the crosswalk twice, back and forth, before Axl realized he was late for soundcheck.

"We need to get to the venue now. I'm late for soundcheck," Axl said, checking his watch.

"Oh man, I didn't even realize what time it was," and we both exchanged panicked glances.

We ended up taking another trolley to a stop that was close to the small venue that Guns was playing at. Once we were inside, Axl hurried to the stage to join the rest of the band while I stayed in the back with Amy and told her about my day.

"So, what did you do?" Amy asked me.

"Just ran around the city. What about you?" I asked.

"The same. We saw Buckingham Palace and then got some ice-cream," She said.

"Ice-cream sounds great right about now," I said.

After soundcheck, the band had a small break before the show. We all went out the back doors of the venue for a quick smoke.

"Where do we go after this?" Duff asked the group.

Slash blew smoke out of his mouth before responding. "Back to the states. Phoenix, I believe."

"I love Phoenix, it's very nostalgic for me. I lived there until I was twelve, then we moved to California," Amy said.

Then, the door opened and it was the band's manager. "Guns N Roses to the stage," He said, waving the band on. The band then put out their cigarettes and poured out their beers.

"What's the status of the crowd?" Axl asked as we walked inside.

"Full house," The manager replied.

"This will be one fucking amazing show, then," Axl smirked.
