XXII

Jake's P.O.V.

This is one of the most happiest days of my life. Hanna gets to come home. Having her back with us all together. She still has to take medicine and all that sort of stuff but she's home. The past month and a half has been a struggle for all of us. I didn't want to leave her side. I was afraid something would happen or she would wake up and no one was there. I never want to leave her side again. We all were worried out of our mind. I don't know what I would of if I lost her. Nate and Taylor are by the desk. They come over and talk to me about throwing Hanna a welcome home party.

"I think that's a good idea. We can plan something tomorrow. I'm sure she just wants to spend time with us and rest." Taylor says. We think of different things to do while we wait for Hanna to get cleared by the doctor.

"Who's ready to go home?" We turn around at Hanna's voice. I smile with the widest smile.

"What are we waiting for?" Taylor says as she walks up to her and intertwines their arms together and start walking towards the elevator. Taylor presses down and we all pile in.

"We'll catch the next one," Christi says, smiling as they watch up crowd around each other. The doors slowly close and we stand there with smiles on our faces. Happy that we have our best friend and my everything back.

The car ride was fun. The girls sang all the songs they knew and didn't know. It was hilarious. I just kept looking at Hanna and never stopped smiling. We get back to the house and when Taylor when to unlock the door she says,

"Guys. The door is unlocked." She says as her voice shakes a little.

"Okay that's good right?" Nate chuckles.

"Not if I locked it before I left yesterday and no one has been home." She says and everyone quiets down. I walk up to he door but she walks in before I get behind her.

"What are you doing here?" I hear her say and we all move past the door and we all crowd in the front room.

"So she survived. Hm, shame," There's a girl in the living room. "I've been waiting for quite a while." I push Hanna behind me to protect her from whoever this is. She squeezes my hand and I squeeze back. Nate whispers something to Hanna and I she squeezes my hand and lets go.

"What do you want? Haven't you caused enough trouble already?" Taylor says. She knows who this is.

"Doing what needs to be done, Taylor. You see, she hurt my brother and that's not-" Taylor cuts her off.

"So killing her is the option you went with? How dumb do you think I am to let you try again?" Taylor says angrly.

"Oh no, I had other options. This, just looked like fun."

"Who are you even and-" Nate starts to says but Taylor blocks him off and I walk up behind her and put my hand on her shoulder, trying to ask who is this.

"Sorry to burst your bubble, but you're never going to touch her again." Taylor takes a step forward.

"Mhm, yeah, I don't like that idea. Mine sounds better." She says. My arms are pulled behind me and when I try to turn and see who it was, they firmly kept me looking straight ahead. Taylor was the only person who didn't get pulled. 'Why?' I thought.

"Who are these people? Let. Us. Go." Nate says.

"Now the fun begins." The girls smirks.

"The only way to get Hanna is through me." Taylor says. I try to pull my arms out and get away but I can't move.

"Taylor, what are you doing?" Nate says worried.

"Doing what is right." She looks at me and I can tell by her eyes something bad will happen.

"Let's get this over with, Regina." Regina? Regina.

Regina walks up to Taylor and slaps her.

"You don't get to tell me what to do." Regina says. Taylor brings her head up.

"You shouldn't have done that." Taylor says.

"And what are you going do abo-" Taylor punches her and we hear a crack. She gets up and blood is already coming from her nose. Soon they are in full fight. I didn't know Taylor could fight like that. I try to get out and when I look back at the girls Taylor is on the ground gripping her side.

"Taylor!" We all shout. Nate tries to twist and turn out of the strong arms that hold him firmly. I hear a thud and look up to see Hanna with a frying pan and Regina knocked out on the floor. She must have came in from the back door. I smile just seeing her.

"Let them go or you get it to." Hanna says. She flinches at them with the frying pan and the guys let us go and rush out the door.

"You okay?" I walk over to Hanna. I pull her into a tight hug.

"Yeah, yeah." She turns to Taylor and we all gather around her. She has tears in her eyes but they haven't fallen.

"Yeah yeah. A few bruises but all that matters is that you're safe." She smiles at her sister. Hanna and Nate help her up while I get ice from the kitchen.

I'm so sorry we have not published a chapter or chapters in a while guys...we've been super busy with school, exams, state testing, and sports. I promise we will start publishing every friday again soon.
