" You're dorm is in the west wing. I'll show you its the least I can do." Lotus now stood in front of me with a change of clothes. It was silent as I followed behind her towards my dorm and a few glances from the other students, I knew that the word had already spread about what happened in the canteen.
"Lotus." A lanky boy with glasses too big for his face smiled as he caught up with Lotus who looked up at him with a slight blush. If anyone didn't know, you could tell the girl had feelings for the boy in front of her and it wasn't hard to miss by the way he looked at her that he too reciprocated the same feelings.
"You guys a thing," I questioned causing both heads to snap to me, Lotus's face getting a shade redder as they both shook their head disagreeing.
"Ella this is Jack." The boy's eyes widened like saucers stuttering to say anything.
"Nice to meet you, Jack, Lotus told me about you." Jack nodded his face beaming as he looked down at Lotus.
" Thanks for helping her out. You're very brave and no offence I didn't expect you to help because you know you're like one of the richest in this school after Sebastian." there was spitefulness in his voice as he mumbled Sebastian King's name. Everyone knew who the notorious Sebastian King was, hell everyone in my old school knew, girls bragged about having a date with the hotshot, there was no point denying his looks but it was the sour personality which made me dislike him. I walked with both of them to my dorm as they introduced everything about the school. Jack was also here on a scholarship, their parents were middle class teachers and Doctors, who could only afford half the tuition fee.
"Well here it is, you basically have the whole room to yourself. You can hold a party in here." Indeed I could because the dorm room was nothing like I imagined it to be. It was a penthouse and the thought of not sharing it with someone made me feel desolate.
" I guess you don't like it," Lotus mumbled
"It's not that...It's just that well it's only me in this big thing." Lotus looked at me and then Jack.
" Is that an invite for me to come and live here cause my roommate makes my life hell." Lotus grinned
"Yes please, I would love some company." It sounded more desperate then I intended it to nevertheless, Lotus squealed jumping up and down causing Jack to smile at her.
"Oh and Jack you are welcome here anytime."
