Lies! Lies spilled out to protect your civil right to bear arms.
You fail to see that your civil right is making it easy for people to get their hands on guns.
Your 'civil right' is taking the lives of innocent children.
The guns are hurting our schools.
As I wake up to news that the 17th school shooting to happen this year was carried out by a student who was able to get their hands on a gun, my heart sinks.
Yet I do not only send thoughts and prayers.
I also march and protest and pre-register to vote.
I register to vote so that when the time comes I can vote those who care more about their guns than they do about our children out of office
I will help vote those who do care for our children and their safety in.
It's time to tell them we don't just need thoughts and prayers, we need action.
We need it now!
