I gasped as I lifted the blindfold up, I looked around the room and noticed the faces of all my friends and shawns family and some of his friends. I looked at shawn and he smiled "surprise baby"

Shawn walked over to me and gave me a kiss, there was music playing and people dancing and talking, I walked around meetings shawns family from England and Canada and his friends who I have not met before , I was talking to Karen and manny and Aaliyah who looked gorgeous and wished me happy birthday and gave me gifts.

Me and shawn split, him talking with Geoff and teddy and I was with Cynthia and marina my best friends who shawn also invited,I can't believe they kept it secret, I was still shocked I can't believe he planned all this for me. I was talking to matt about school and what I have been up to that's when I heard the clinking of a glass and looked up at shawn who was standing on a chair.

"thank you everyone for coming today to celebrate this wonderful girls birthday" everyone clapped "I'm so unbelievable happy I met such a smart and beautiful woman and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, can you come over here for a second"

I put down my glass and walked over to shawn, he got off the chair and looked in my eyes "now I know we've done this already but it was in private and I'm ready to show everyone how much I love you" shawn got down on one knee and everyone started to gasp

"niki I love you so much and I don't need to wait anymore, I know you are the one for me, so will you do me the honor of becoming my wife" tears formed in my eyes and I looked around the room at all the shocked and excited faces, I looked back at shawn and pulled him up and kissed him "is that a yes" I laughed "of course yes, yes"

The room erupted in cheers and people smiling,soon we were enveloped in people saying congratulations and talking to us. Karen and manny came over and hugged us and said how happy they were for us and Aaliyah jumped on Me and kept saying how we would be sisters and how she wanted to be a bridesmaid.

Marina and Cynthia were so happy and were practically crying with joy and I couldn't help but think, this is the happiest I've ever been.

It came to the end of the night and everyone was going home, this is the first time I got a proper look at the amazing penthouse we were in and the view it had over Dublin, it was a beautiful big apartment with modern style interior, the big window took up one wall and looked over the city and all of the lights and the water.

. Shawn came up behind me and kissed my shoulder and wrapped his arms around my waist I rested my head on his shoulder. He laughed and I smiled "what's so funny" "oh nothing just that was so fun" "yeah it was, thanks shawnie that's the happiest I've ever been"

Shawn turned me around so I was facing him and pushed me against the window, he rested his hands on both sides of my head and leaned in, his lips were so close I could kiss him but he moved his mouth to my ear and in a seductive voice "hopefully I'll make you even happier on our wedding day" he kisses me on the cheek and walked away as I let out a bit breath.

I woke up the next morning with a headache, I had never been hungover before and it was the worst feeling. I got up off the bed in one of the rooms in the apartment and walked to the kitchen where I found shawn shirtless and drinking coffee, "morning" he looked up from his phone and smiled "good morning and how's my beautiful fiancé" "oh I have a banging headache" he got up and put his cup in the sink

"your using this place like we owned it" "ha what do you mean" "just having a party and sleeping here and using there cups, I feel sorry for the people who lent you this place" "he walked over to me as I sat on the counter he stood in between my legs and hugged me, I wrapped my arms around him" what would you say if I told you it was us""what do you mean" "consider it a birthday /engagement present but this is our place now"
