Hey so it's been a while since i updated and i really don't know how to end this story.

Niki'S PoV

I looked at my dad,the man I've never met for over 22 years.

"can we talk later " I whisper
"Of course,I'll wait outside " he turned around and went outside. I looked at shawn who said "are you sure you want to continue " i nodded  "yeah, this is our day " i looked at my mother who was smiling sheepishly at me.

The ceremony continued, I couldn't help but feel anxious during the whole time, all i wanted was to be happy and don't get me wrong i was.

What did he want, why now, what does this mean??? So many questions..

Shawns pov
Looking into her eyes i could read how she felt i could tell she was anxious , i knew she would have lots of questions going 22years with no dad and a mother who gave mixed feelings.

Shawn lifted my veil as he kissed me the church erupted in cheers and we were married, i grabbed his hand and we both walked outside the church smiling at everyone and got into the car which would bring us to the reception, there was some paparazzi and fans on the street, Rose petals where thrown on our heads "wait, i should talk to my dad" shawn looked at me sympathetically and knodded "ok, I'll wait" i loved him so much.

I got out of the car and walked up the steps back into the church where my mam and dad where waiting and talking, everyone was gone, i slowly walked up to them making sure i didn't trip on my dress.

I gulped and was about to speak but he beat me to it "you don't have to say anything, all i ask is for you to listen, there's no excuses for why i wasn't here, i loved you and your mother but things got to much for me and i ran and looking back now its the worst decision ever, seeing you now grown up and so beautiful and your little family, im so happy and proud and that your a nurse waw that's amazing, im an really so sorry "

" im not mad at you, im confused but not mad but why all this time, why come back now? "

" i didn't know where to find you, and i saw on the Internet that you where marrying this singer and I was so happy that i found you, i wanted to show up earlier but I couldn't "

I looked at my mother who was staring at me" did you know "" he called me a few days ago and I was so surprised, please just give him a chance " i looked at him, my dad and I wanted him in my life" you've missed out on alot "" i know so let's catch up "

I walked outside with my parents and saw shawn waiting at the car with Madison, i waved them over, shawn came over standing by my side and looked at my dad he put out his arm to shake my dad's hand my dad stared at him and laughed pulling him in a hug i smiled at how confused shawn was

"so your the young fellow who stole my daughters heart congratulations you seem lovely" mr kidd its so nice to meet you "oh please call me Peter" "ok, its my middle name so I won't forget"

I smiled "and  this little rascal here is Madison" i picked up my daughter as shawn kissed her cheek "she's so adorable hello, im your grandfather" Madison laughed "petie" "you can call me that" and im also expecting I'm 3 months along""waw that is amazing congratulations"

We all laughed this was amazing a happy family and nothing could ever separate us, for the whole after party we caught up and I had excepted that I had a father now, him and my mother where on good terms I think there flame was still igniting so maybe they would get back together, marina and Cynthia met him too and everyone was talking about everything and anything.

When it came to our dance shawn bowed in front of me and took my hand, kissing it he led me onto the dance floor and we slowdanced i just stared into his eyes and smiled, my little baby kicked and I shivered.
It was so peaceful everything around us disappeared and it was just us. When the song ended other couples joined us, Cynthia butted in to dance with shawn as i went to dance with manny, Karen and alliyah looked so beautiful at the wedding, manny was so emotional that me and shawn were husband and wife and it was the best day of my life.

In 6 months i would be having twin boys me and shawn will be living in our house in Vancouver and I will be a fully qualified nurse, shawn would be at the top of the charts as always. And everything would be normal.
