Kay's POV

I really don't want to talk about the funeral because it was unnecessary my mom didn't want it but pooh decided that it would only be right so that's what we did. Because I'm the oldest I have an obligation to take care of Pooh until she's 18 the only thing is my mom died without leaving us any money we had no place to live we had no place to go I don't know how supposed to take care of her I called my dad thinking he would do something to help but I should've known better he ain't do shit

I knew we were going to do for money we were going to dance I had to except mateos offer when he asked me to join the team we need all the money we could get and I need to get away from the city so I decided to tell him that.

Me: Pooh look both ways before crossing

Pooh: orwhat ...
She walked into the street just missing a car

Me:LEILANI WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU

Pooh:SHES DEAD YOU IDIOT OUR MOTHER IS SIX FEET UNDER GROUND . SHE IS NEVER COMING BACK . IM NEVER GONNA GET TO SEE HER SMILE AGAIN .

She pushed me away

Pooh: just fuck off I know the way to mateos house I'll met u there in a bit.

She walked away I never heard her curse at me but she just did and then walked off

I walked to Mateos house and knocked in the door Ayo let me in and hugged me

Ayo: hey girly

Me: hey Ayo

Ayo: Mateo is upstairs or outside I don't even know

Me: thanks

Ayo: hey look I'm really sorry abo...

Me:yea me too

I walked away and out side too there pool area I looked into the water it was very...blue enticing almost.
I slid my sweat pants off and took my shirt off
I jumped in letting the water hit my hair

Mateos POV

Ayo came into my room

Ayo: ur gurl in the back and my girl is coming over and I'm tryna get sum tonite so keep it down

Me: you can't do that Pooh is coming over

Ayo: who gives a fuck

He walked away

He's one nasty ass nigga
I got up from my nap and put in my slides then I went into the back to see Kay and her modeling looking ass in the water.

Me: yo

Kay: fuck u scared me

Me: what hell are you doing in my pool with your clothes on

Kay: correction underwear's

She...she had her pantys on in the water

Me:I don't care get out

Kay : uhhhh no

Me: fine

I took my slides off and jumped in the water wrapping her legs around my waist I came up from underneath the water and looked up at her.
She was really light
She moved the hair out of my face

Kay: your pretty

She said completely serious

Me: ur goofy

I said laughing and that made her laugh
Our eyes met and everything was quiet for a bit.
Kay: I'm cold
Me: yea let's head inside

Pooh's POV

I just need to walk away I didn't have a place to go Kehlani sold my moms house our moms house I know we need the money but that was where I grew up didn't even sell for that much we can't buy a new house with the money or mom didn't want us to we have to respect her wishes now that she's... gone.

I didn't feel like talking to my sister but kida was ok

Kida : where are you are you ok

Me: I'm fine I'm at a Lincoln park

Kida: ur sister has everyone looking for you

Kida: I'm coming to get you

Me: she told you guys what happened ?

Me: WAIT COME ALONE

Me: I don't want to be around no one else

Kay's POV

Apparently kind of found out where pool was but put in wanna talk to me or anybody else for that matter I felt disgusted with myself I told Mateo about the living problems that I'm having right now and that I was gonna stay in a hotel for a couple days he just looked at me and asked me why didn't stay with him.

Me: there is only two weeks left before our competition tour what's the point

Mateo : ur staying here

Me: noooo please I don't want Pooh to feel uncomfortable just for a few nights ok?

Mateo: fine... Kaylanni

Me: yessir

Then he kissed me and I accidentally kissed back I cupped his cheek and he grabbed my lower back and it was getting intense until I gotta text message from kida

Staying in the park for a bit be there soon

He said taking off his shirt

Mateo : oh damn you can talk to me

Me: she was all I had left she is all I have left she was the reason why wanted to come back here and now she hates me I think she thinks I killed  mom... she told me when my mom died that before I came my mom was under a lot of stress but not as much and then once I came I don't know I think she's blaming me
