Kay POV

I know damn well..
I started laughing out of now where.

Me: this is so great

I sat down and got on my phone and started scrolling on Instagram .

Everyone was so confused about why I was calm and I was too so I didn't say anything to anyone .

Cleo went into the bathroom and came out with the test . the result was positive

Me: can I leave now I have things to do
I glared at Mateo wondering wtf was going through his mind.

Cleo mumbled something underneath her breath

I stood up and walked over to the kitchen shuffling through the draws .

Grabbing the biggest knife I could find I walked over to Cleo and put it as close as possible to her throat .

Me: you wanna repeat that bitch
I sneered at her she stood on her tippy toes and looked like she wanted to cry

Cleo: please my .. my baby

I got closer to Cleo so close in fact I could feel her breath trembling
Me: I'll kill you and that baby in your stomach please try me bitch

My eye caught my sister and everyone else on the bus staring at me in disbelief

Trey stepped up

Trey: l..lookkk kay she not even worth it

Ayo stepped forward

Ayo: and there's more than just the test you know everyone then smashed her we don't know if it's Mateo

I looked in Cleo's eyes she had started crying
God damnit what was I doing

I took a deep breath out

Me: whatever bro she ain't even worth it
I threw the knife at the bathroom door and it stood firm in the wood .

Manager: alright guys first stop is California

I felt like I needed to throw up
I don't know if it was the thought of my old home or something else .

Pooh shook her head
I had disappointed her once again ... I mean at least she knew what I had done was wrong .

Mateo POV

I spoke up to cut through the tension

Me: Cleo there's one more test you need to take

Kay laughed almost snorting

Kay: ohhhhhhhh there's another one how great !!

Me: go in the bathroom and stick that pen in your vagina *which shouldn't be that hard* then I'll swab my my mouth and it'll tell us if I'm the dad .

The manager sighed

Manager: I have no idea what the hell is going on but if the child is Mateo Cleo needs to stay with us for the remaining of the challenge tour if not we'll drop her off at California and leave . How long will the test take?

Me: on the box it says 15-27 hours

Yoshi: if my calculations are correct when we get the results we'll be half way to California and day or so away.

Manager: regardless we have to get a move on let's start with rolecall and then we can get a move on

Trey: do you always have to be a dork

Yoshi : what are you talking about now you damn fool

Trey: iF mY CalU shut the fuck up

Yoshi: get out of my face with your dick sucking breath

Manager: ALRIGHT enough. rolecall we know trey and yoshi is here and is Kaylanni here .

Kay spoke so coldly so far away

Kay: here.

The manager continue talking but I was just looking at Kay sit there on the phone

And then the phone started ringing and Kays face dropped .

Kay: excuse me I have to take this

And she walked away to the next room while everyone got settled and put there stuff down I could only think about what could be that bad that her face could drop like that

Kay POV

My father had called and the fact that he had even tried to get in contact with me was sicken but the news I got topped all of that.

Him: hello.. Kaylanni

Me: what

Him: I can't get a hell-

Me: you got five seconds

Him: I heard your mother died anyway the point is -

Me: please get to the point

Him: I have to take custody of Pooh

Me: your lying

Him: now list-

Me: YOU LYING BASTARD

Him: lower your time miss

Me: the social worker said I could take care of her this isn't fair

Him: while that is true it only applies if the biological father doesn't want her

Me: you why would you-

Him: she has a lot of potential I've been watching her dance I could get a lot of money for her

Me: Are YOU KIDDING ME YOU SICK IDIOT

Him: whatever you say Kaylanni have her here in Cali in 3 days unless you want a court fight

Me: you best believe I will

Him: with your record you think any judge in there right mind would giv-

I hung up

All of a sudden my problems were much bigger than the love of my life possibly getting a girl pregnant

I dropped my phone and sat on the bed in a state of shock . Out of the corner of the room I heard a soft muffled sob.

Pooh stood in the doorway tears falling down her face her hand was covering her mouth and she was trembling

She remembered everything that had happened. And just like me as much as she tried to forget she couldn't . Certain things like your mom getting punched or spit on or slapped just doesn't go away

She took two steps towards me and I ran towards her to catch her before she fell.

Pooh only whispered and with every word her voice shook .

Pooh: please... please don't let hi-

Me: I promise I won't let him take you Pooh . I promise okay

Pooh nodded her head and she pulled me into a hug as she cried
The bus started to move and all I was thinking about was how I was gonna keep my sister in this position with me .
