Chapter 6: Weird

We drove for a while but made camp at a nearby warehouse.

After Paul's death, we all felt devastated and scared, there was no trust among us anymore because everyone felt that the person close to them could be an alien.

"We can't continue like this, we can't let one bad incident be the downfall of us" I said

"But what do we do? Who knows who else is a spy?" Onos asked

"I literally sleep with one eye open just so I don't get bit" Rukky added

"Maybe C.y is one of em" Aaron murmured

"What did you say?" C.y

"Me? Nothing. Nothing at all" Aaron replied

"E talk say you fit be one of them" Akpos said

"Wow, really Aaron, what makes you say that?" C.y asked

"I just don't trust you, especially around my sister" Aaron said

"That doesn't make me a spy, you bitch!!" C.y yelled moving towards Aaron

"Call me bitch one more time" Aaron said getting up

"Oh..!! That's easy, Bitch!!" C.y said

"You motherfu-----" Aaron yelled

"Stop it!! Both of you, I'm not some property that you fight over" Jenny said "This is what the Grand Master wants, us fighting each other"

"Is it just me or did that fight have nothing to do with the grandmaster?" Mega asked

"Shut up!!" C.y, Jenny and Aaron yelled

"So what do we do?" Maro asked

"We attack, cause they won't expect us to do that right now" C.y said

"We can't, we have not much weapons left (guns, machetes and not much ammo), no plan, nothing, we are going in there blind, we are all going to die" I said

"My guy wetin you dey talk na true oo, me as I dey so I never complete my house for village so I never won die" Akpos said

"So what do we do?" Erie asked

"We need a plan, more weapons and a leader but before all that we need food and water" I said "Cause somebody ate the last supply we had"

We all turned looking at C.y

"What? I was hungry" he said

"Of course you were" Jenny said rolling her eyes

"So who's gonna be in charge?" Jamey asked

"I think Maro should be the leader, he's been here more than any of us and has military training" I said

"Why don't you be the leader?" Erie asked

"I can't" I said

"Why?" Erie asked

"I just can't!! Okay!!"

"Okay" Erie said

"So Maro it is" C.y said

"All in favor say aye" Jamey said

"Aye!!" Everyone said

"The ayes have it, Maro is officially the leader" Jamey said

"So boss, what do we do now?" Aaron asked

"Uhmmm.. Thanks for making me the leader, We need to get more food, weapons and we need a place to stay cause we can't just rush into battle, and we definitely don't have the numbers, we need more people" Maro replied
