Chapter 10 : Confrontation

"Anything?" Aaron asked

"No. All i see here are dead bodies, human and bzerk" C.y said

"We need to push further in" Maro said

"Has anyone ever wondered?" I asked

"Wondered what?" asked Jamey

"Wondered why they came here? To Nigeria, especially to Warri" I asked

"Probably because of the fact that we have no defense system, the government is corrupt and because it's the most easily accessable country on Earth" C.y said

"Wow, that must have been the smartest thing you've said in your life" Maro said

We all laughed

"That's not true, I've said smart things" C.y protested

"Oh really? What?" Jamey asked

"Uhmmm, remember that time when...... uhmmm" C.y pondered

"See, nothing" Maro said

"I think the only smart thing he ever said is 'i love you' to Jenny" I said

"ohhhhhhhhhh, mad ooo" Jamey said

We all laughed

"But this chaos is unfathomable, these are things that we get to see in movies but now we're actually in it, trying to save humanity, who would have thought?" Betty said

"But c.y is right, I think the bzerks chose us because of the way our country is" I said

"But how did they select who to pick?" Betty asked

"They must have some alien tech" Maro said

"Yeah, but how did they pick people? they selected mostly adults and left the teenagers and kids" Betty said

"That's true, only a few adults were left behind, like Maro and General Umaru" Jamey said

"Are they playing some sort of game with us?" C.y asked

"I don't know fo--------"

I start seeing a vision, I see flashes of Okere Prison, I see a girl staring at me, and I see Ken, Erie, and Jenny.

"Pri---- Guy, Prince, are you okay?" C.y asks

"I know where they are" I said

"He's coming" said the boss

"how do you know?" Osas asked

"He saw me and i saw him" said the boss

"So he knows where we are?" Osas asked

"Yes, and he's not alone, we need to prepare" said the boss

"But why? why do you want him to die? you don't even know this guy, he might be a good guy"

"There are no good people in times of war" the boss said "besides there is something about him, that's why I have to kill him"

"Can you tell me what that is?" Osas asked

"I would have but I don't want to put you in danger" said the boss

"C'mon you know me, I am your best friend, you can trust me and I sure can handle myself so don't bother about me" said Osas

"I know but this isn't like anything else, he's not someone who is ordinary, he's very powerful and he's dangerous, but he doesn't know about this power yet so that's why I have to kill him" the boss said
