For Two

-The next day...-

"Mommy!" Emily yelled. Selena sighed. She pushed herself up off of the couch.Whoa. She felt dizzy. She fell back. "Shawn!" she called out weakly.

She and Emily were staying at Shawn's house for now.

Shawn came into the room. "Yes?" he asked. "I don't feel well."Selena said, leaning her head back. Shawn sat next to her. "What's wrong?"

"My stomach hurts, and my head also hurts, and-" Selena sat bolt upright and coughed.

"Um,I'll get you some medicine." Shawn said.

Selena nodded weakly.

-Four days later...-

Selena still felt sick so Shawn took her to the doctor.

"Well,"the doctor came back beaming. "I h

ave amazing news."Selena heart dropped. "What?" she asked.

"You're eating for two now!" The doctor exclaimed.

"I'm pregnant!?" Selena cried. She closed her eyes and held her head inher hands.

"Aren't you excited?" The doctor asked.

Selena shook her head miserably.

"Well,congratulations." The doctor told Shawn.

Shawn shook his head fast. "It's not my kid."

The doctor was really confused.

"My husband died in a car crash. It's our baby." Selena said quietly.

"Oh!"It made sense to the doctor now. "I'm so sorry."
Selena nodded. "Can I leave?"

The doctor nodded. "Yes. Just come see me next-"
Selena didn't let him finish. She grabbed Shawn and Emily and got out of there.

She pulled the two of them out tot eh car. Then she collapsed in the front seat and cried.

"Selena it's not a big-" Shawn started to say.

"Yes it is!" Selena interrupted him.

Shawn fell quiet. "I really am sorry. I'll help you as much as I can."

Selena nodded and wiped her tears away.
