A young good looking man almost the age of Arjun was standing in front of them with a huge smile. Though huge but the smile looked so forced. Whoever he was Arjun sure didn't like him."Hello Brother!" he spoke greeting Arjun with a side hug and then he turned towards her joining his hands "Namaste Bhabhi ji"
Not sure on what to do, she joined her hands and greeted him back with a half-smile. She looked at Arjun expecting him to at least introduce them but he was in mood. Sensing that the man in question himself took initiative.
"Won't u introduce us Arjun?" he shook his head in disappointment and turned to look at her "Anyway Bhabhi ji, I am Mikhail Singhania. Arjun's favorite cousin. Right bro?"
In response Arjun just glared at him. Arohi wanted to laugh so badly but the moment was inappropriate. It just felt so funny to see someone else on receiving end of Arjun's firey glares.
"Come on Arjun. I know u are angry with me because I couldn't make it to your wedding but some of us real work to do and we can't take offs as per our wish" Mikhail slammed his shoulder lightly with his "But see I am here now to wish u both a happy married life ahead" his eyes travelled from Arjun to her.
"Thank u so much for ur precious presence but I fear anyone hardly missed u" Arjun spoke gritting his teeth.
Mikhail scoffed "let me put ur fear to rest. A lot many people missed me. In fact I just met Uncle Rudra who was visibly very happy to see me"
"Good for you. Now if u don't mind there are other people waiting!"
"ah! Yes, Sure. Here a small gift from my side for the lovely lady" Mikhail extended his hand towards the man standing beside him who Arohi didn't notice before. The man handed him, what looked like a jewelry box. Mikhail stepped a closer to her "Welcome to family...Bhabhi" he opened the box while presenting it to her. There was a beautiful sapphire and diamond set. Before she could do something Arjun closed the box and shoved it back to him.
"We don't need anything from u"
"I am not giving it you. Let her decide" he raised his brow and smiling turned to Arohi again offering the box.
Arohi looked at Arjun who was standing with a clenched jaw. For a moment she wanted to accept it to just irritate him but her gut told her it wouldn't be a good idea. So she decided to do what was the right thing to do then.
"I appreciate ur presence, Mr. Singhania but I am sorry I can't accept this" she smiled sweetly at him.
Mikhail shrugged his shoulders and gave the box back to his bodyguard or servant whatever he was "Well I can't force u"
Arohi again flashed a smile as he left from there followed by his servant.
"Will u stop smiling at him!" a very irritating voice came from her side. Rolling her eyes she looked at him "Don't u think u were rude not accepting the gift? U could have said politel..."
"Damn! How greedy can u be?" he spoke stopping her in mid-sentence "It was just a piece of jewelry. If u dying so much to have one, I will buy you but dare u accept something from that Mikhail"
Arohi glared at him "u know u are a pathetic person!"
"Look who's speaking" he scoffed.
Arohi gave him a disgusting look before she had to fake a smile as some guest arrived to meet them.
**********
Arohi turned to look behind as the door of room opened. She was removing her jewellery standing in front of mirror. As expected it was Arjun wearing the same outfit but the coat was gone.
