Arohi was jotting down the pointers given by her professor when she felt her mobile vibrate in her pocket. She had a look at professor and pulled out her phone fully knowing who it might be. She grinned and tapped on the notification with Arjun's name.
"Dear Wife"
"Hey"
"At what time will you be getting free?"
"6ish"
"Ok"
"How about having our first date tonight? 😁"
"Captain"
"You need lots of improvement in this *asking out* department 🙄🤭"
"Umm..How about you teach me tonight? 😉"
"😂 Ok."
"We are not going to some fancy place Please😶"
"Will see about that🤨"
"Text the name of place and time"
"I will pick you up at 8 from home"
"Sounds cool"
"👍"
With a sweet smile Arohi kept her mobile back in pocket and concentrated on class which was tough job after the small distraction that Arjun caused. Now she was all thinking about their date tonight. Their first official date night. She blushed. She practically has dinner with him almost every night but date sounds so nice. She was getting nervous jitters in pit of her stomach.
She left from college even before than 6. She was so excited and looking forward to spend time with him. As it was going to be there last dinner before he leaves for Australia, she wanted to make most of it.
"What should I wear?"
Pulling out her mobile she texted him and sat on bed waiting for his reply. After 15 minutes or so she got his reply.
"Anything comfortable"
She rolled her eyes on his helpful reply. Just then her mobile again pinged.
"Don't wear heels though. It's gonna be long night 😉
Coach's calling. So many things left to do. Will see you sharp at 8. Bye!"
"Bye! 😘"
"I'll like to have 😘 in personal"
"Seriously bye"
She chuckled on his reply. This new flirtatious side of him is so adorable.
It was 30 minutes past 8 and Arjun hasn't showed up yet. She was waiting for him in the hall all ready in a deep green jumpsuit paired with brown combat boots. When he didn't show up even after an hour, she finally decided to call him. But it went unanswered. She was getting worried now. She called Salil to know about his whereabouts.
"Hi Salil"
"Arohi, Everything's fine? You sound worried"
"I am trying to contact Arjun but he is continuously unavailable. I was wondering if he is with you"
"Oh! No he isn't with me. He left with Jai and Romit for drinks. I'll call them and let you know"
"Ok thanks!"
