Chapter 4: I smell Peanut butter and Jealous sandwich
Ashley's POV
I feel someone patting my back. I turn around and it was my mum. "Mum?" I asked with my morning voice.
"You like him don't you?" My mum asks. I nod and snuggle into my covers. "It's time for school Ashley, I'll cook breakfast for you and Max." My mom walks away from my bed. I suddenly think of my dad. "Mom, when is dad coming?" She slowly closes my door and doesn't respond.
My dad left us when I was 5. He left to go to army training. I didn't see him since he left. My mom rarely talks about him. Maybe she's afraid of showing her feelings. My dad barley calls on us to check up on us too. No letter's or presents. It's like he doesn't have a family.
I already took a shower at night, so I decided to just change. I slipped on a grey ' I mustache you a question' sweatshirt, skinny jeans and my UGG boots. Today was a rainy day. I ran downstairs with my backpack as usual and I saw Max eating breakfast along with my mum.
My mom passes me a plate of waffles and maple syrup. I ate it quickly and got a text from Niall.
@AshleyHatesNiallForever: Hey, ready for school Ash?
@Nialler: Yeah, I'm coming right now.
I hugged my mum a good bye, and a kiss on the cheek for Max.
"Mum, I hate it when she does that..It's gross!" Max whispers to mum. My mom giggled.
I saw Niall in a dark blue hoodie, jeans and some white suprah's. Sexy as usual.
"Hey Ashley! "
"Hi Nialler." I said and quickly texted Rose. As you can see, this was a vey awkward moment.
"Soo..?" Niall said breaking the silence.
"Okay, you know what? Let's break this awkward moment. I like fishes. " I said out randomly.
Niall laughs at me and plays along. "Fishes are wonderful Ashley. " I smiled.
"I want a piggy back ride Niall!" I said suddenly. He nods and I jump on his back. He runs to school and drops me down.
"Thank you. " I said. He smiled. A beautiful blonde girl passes us and Niall starts to drool.
"Go talk to her weirdo. Don't embarass yourself! " I said and chuckled. He smiled and glared at me and walked over to the girl to introduce himself.
Niall's POV
I walked over to the girl and tapped on her shoulder. I was kind of nervous to approch her.
"Hello! You must be new, would you like a tour of the school?" I asked. She was pretty, but not pretty as Ashley.
"Hi! Your really cute. I'm Sirena. " Sirena said. We traveled all around school. As we traveled, I spotted Ashley sitting by herself under the tree.
"I gotta go, see you around Sirena!" I said and quickly walked to Ashley.
"Ash?" I asked.
"JEALOUS!" She screamed out randomly.
"What?" I asked and sat down next to her waiting for the bell to ring.
"What? Did I say that outloud? Whoops.." She said fake smiling.
"So your jealous? Of who?" Me?" I asked.
"What? You? Your kidding right? Why would I be jealous of you? Your like my friend? I would never be jealous o--" I kissed her on the lips lightly trying to make her stop asking so many questions. She smiled and kissed me back.
"Niall?" A voice behind me said. I broke apart our kiss and saw Sirena.
I quickly got up and took Sirena away from Ashley.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Sorry to bother you, but would you like to come with me to the mall after school and maybe hang out?" She asked me with her cute dimples appearing. I nodded and kissed her on the cheek. I looked at Ashley and saw her staring at her shoes. She shouldn't mind..I mean, we're only friends.
The bell rang and school started. I walked Sirena to her locker.
Ashley's POV
I looked up at Niall and saw them walking together laughing and giggling. I got jealous. Someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned to look who it was and it was the boys.
"Oooh, Ashley's jealous!" Louis yelled out.
"A little. Please don't tell him. " I said. Louis winked at Harry. "LOUIS!" I yelled out. i saw their wink.
"We won't. Calm down Ash!" Harry said and walked with me to my locker.
I glanced over at Niall and saw him with Sirena. He kissed her on the cheek and she giggled and kissed him on the lips. Louis places his hand over my eyes.
"LOUIS. I'm not jealous. " I lied.
"You can't keep your eyes off Niall. Your jelly!" Zayn laughed. I stomped onto his foot.
I closed my locker and went to class. I sat next to Harry and Rose.
"Ashley, you don't want to sit next to me?" Niall questioned.
"No. I don't want to sit next to a cheater. " I said. Rose and Harry looked at me. Niall didn't respond.
"Ash, is something wrong?" Rose asked. She was clearly worried for me.
"No. I'm fine. " I said. I rolled my eyes and sat next to Niall. I wanted to tell him something.
I took out my iPhone and texted Niall .
@Nialler:
I guess I became jealous when I saw you kiss her on the cheek.
His phone vibrated and he read it. He looked up at me and gently placed his hand ontop of mine.
"Why didn't you just tell me Ash? I've known you since Middle School. That kiss was just a friendly kiss. " He whispered into my ears. My ears tingled.
"So I guess, that time we kissed, It was a friendly kiss? Okay. Whatever Niall. " I said and rolled my eyes.
I told the teacher I wasn't feeling good, so I decided to tell him that I'm going the nurse. The nurse called my mum and she picked me up. I told her what happened and she let me sleep in.
