"You're going to love it, Stewart.""But Mom, what if I don't?!...."
You're probably wondering what we're talking about. Well, let's go back a few weeks...
July 12, 2017*beep beep beep!*
"Gahhh!"
*crash!*
Did I just break my alarm clock?! And why is my alarm clock on!? I swear I turned it off.... oh wait.... I must've turned it on....
Stewart sat up on his bed to see a broken alarm clock on his bed stand.
Dang it! I just bought that like two weeks ago!
*creak...*
Stewart looked at his opened door to see his mother.
"Are you okay? I heard something break?" She asked.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. My alarm clock just.....uh..... blew up...."
She studied it for a few seconds and then looked at me.
"Right. Well get that picked up and meet me in the living room. I have some news."
She shut the door leaving me sitting there wondering on what she'll say to him this time.
We don't really have these 'talks' often, but when we do... it's a big announcement....
Stewart swept the clock in a trash bag and threw it against his wall. He got dressed and went down to the living room.
Uh, oh.... Dad's there too. When it's Mom and Dad, that's a code red.
"Come sit down."
Stewart sat down on the sofa.
"Your dad and I have been talking, and we've made a decision."
"You're getting divorced!"
"No! Stewart!" Mother shot.
"Sorry...."
Well that's a relieve....
"We've decided in order for your social skills to be at least acceptable, that you'll be sent to public school this fall," Father announced.
No, no, no, no!!
"We also don't have enough money to homeschool a high school student," Mother added.
"I hope you can understand," Father said.
I don't have words.... I mean how could they do this!?
"Please no! You know I'm horrible at communicating with people!"
"I know, hunny, and this will help!" Mother said.
"I can't do this!"
Stewart stormed up to his bedroom.
