5: Konoha

Before the Attack:

Usagi's POV:

Tachi-nii just came back, though I don't see the creepy snake anywhere. I called out to him, "Tachi-nii! You came back!" He saw me and smiled, then picked me up and carried me on his back.

"Yep, and now I was just going to report to Leader-sama." He carried me down the hallway, and knocked three times on tousan's door. Yes, I call him tousan, and I also call Konan Kaa-san, and everyone else would be an older sibling to me.

Tachi-nii set me down outside before going in. I stayed outside for a while, just leaning against the wall, when the wall suddenly shook and there was a yell. Tousan must have punched another hole in the wall.

I set my ear to the door and listened in. I heard some parts of the conversation like, "...Tried to steal my eyes... Betrayed us... Leaf knows..." It was common knowledge that Creeper Snake wanted Tachi-nii's eyes, and he must have left if he failed.

Suddenly, there was a boom, and Tachi-nii and Tousan both burst out of the office. They told me to stay safe, but some Leaf ANBU had already seen me. I drew them into my genjutsu, but then something hit the back of my neck. I heard him barking orders to those not in my genjutsu as black spots covered my vision. I felt totally helpless with my hearing failing, and my limbs were getting numb. I felt someone putting chakra cuffs on me, before I blacked out completely.

Tenzou's POV:

I picked up the little girl and put chakra absorbing cuffs on her wrists and ankles, and wondered to myself about why she would be with the Akatsuki. Maybe she was some prodigy that they wanted, or she has a special Kekkei Genkai. It seemed that her specialty is genjutsu, seeing as all the people she used it on were ANBU and they couldn't break out until she passed out.

Either way, she definitely has information on the Akatsuki that Konoha would definitely need. After giving out some orders, we used the teleportation jutsu just as we heard running towards us.

Usagi's POV:

After the Attack:

I groggily woke up in a dimly lit room, when suddenly, all memories of what had happened jolted me up.

I took in my surroundings and realized that this situation is not good. There were rows of sharp pointy things spread out on tables, and I was chained onto a metal chair. There were chakra absorbing cuffs on my wrists and ankles, and some seals which I recognized to block the transportation jutsu and communication jutsu and also one that gives a location to the user at all times.

I heard footsteps come, and I tensed. I may have been babied by my nee-chan, but I am not weak. I can stand pain, and not show it.

The door was then opened by a man who I recognized from my studies as Ibiki Morino. He chuckled darkly and cracked his knuckles, before picking a strange torture device off of the table. "Let's begin," he said, making me glare.

Hokage's POV:

I was staring out of the large window, feeling the anticipation set in, when an ANBU captain ,who I recognized to be Tenzou, poofed into my office. "Hokage-sama" he started. I raised an eyebrow and nodded for him to continue.

"We managed to raid the Akatsuki base and capture a girl that was with them. She is now being interrogated by Ibiki Morino." As soon as I heard this, I quickly stood up and teleported us both to the T&I building.

What I then saw almost made me cry. There, chained to a chair, was a little blonde girl, glaring at Ibiki, but showing no signs of struggle or pain. Just as Ibiki was about to cut her again, I yelled out, "Ibiki, stop!"

He glanced at me, still holding the weapon in front of the girl's face, and they both turned to look at me. The girl, though thoroughly hurt, still had a look of defiance and anger in her eyes. It was a little bit hard to tell if it was from what we did, or if it was her way of handling pain.

I flicked my wrist upward, and the chains clattered off of the chair. The girl fell forwards, and I caught her before she fell. It seems that she passed out from her senses being overwhelmed.

I saw the medic who was standing by the side make some hand seals, and the minty glow of the mystic palm enveloped his hands.

Just as he was about to start healing, strange chakra started coming from the girl's forehead in waves, and started healing her body by itself. Seeing it may be similar to Tsunade's healing technique, I checked her forehead.

At first glance, there was nothing, but then I noticed some bumps. I ran my finger along them, and found they were cosmetics. I then decided to leave it alone in case she wakes up.

"Tenzou, take this girl to the hospital and notify me when she wakes up." He nodded and teleported to the hospital. Now, on to search for her file, if she has one. If not, I will create one for her.
