Usagi's POV:

All I felt was pain as I drifted through the darkness. Suddenly, a starry sky took over the background and a melody I always heard Onee-chan hum me to sleep with. I felt a tingling sensation, and when I looked down at myself, I noticed all of my wounds were gone.

I then started to hear voices coming from seemingly all around me, saying, "Be strong, you can pull through!" That's right! I will somehow find my way back to Onee-chan and the rest of my family!

With these thoughts in mind, I struggled to open my eyes. At first, everything was a blurred mess, but then the outlines of shapes started to appear, and I realized I was in a hospital.

I sat up suddenly, quickly regretting it a moment later, as pain shot through my body. I sensed a chakra signature approaching and quickly lied down again. An ANBU came in and checked on me before leaving to fetch the Hokage.

I decided that I could escape some other time, so I just lied down and waited, while thinking. Will I be able to get out go here on my own? Will Nee-chan come and get me? Will I be killed before either of those happened?

As I was thinking these thoughts, I heard a knock on the door, and an old man walked in. I realized he was the Sandaime Hokage, though he looks really old. He had a warm and caring smile, though I won't trust him that easily.

He walked towards me and pulled up a stool next the the bed. Taking a sigh and putting on a glare, I started, "What do you want?!" He just chuckled to himself, and answered, "Child, what's your name and what were you doing with the Akatsuki?"

I simply decided, if I wasn't going home, I was going to make the people of Konoha's lives hell. I turned away with a stubborn demeanor. "Not telling." He sighed with a slightly, and asked again, "At least tell us what your name is."

I thought about it. It couldn't hurt to give them something to call me by, right? "Usagi." Last name?" "None." He wrote everything so far onto his little clipboard. "Now, I have a proposition for you." Que the raised eyebrow.

"Would you like to stay in Konoha and become a shinobi?" I didn't answer. I didn't mind, but I also didn't want to be cooperative. "I'll take that as a yes."

He looked towards the door and said, "Kakashi, you can come in." Kakashi Hatake? As in the CopyCat Ninja? Tobi told me about him, and yes, I know Tobi is also Obito. Kakashi's the reason why Tobi only has one eye.

The door opened, revealing the CopyCat, reading... Icha Icha Paradise?! That pervert. "Usagi, this is Kakashi Hatake, and he will be the one to watch over you." Oh hell no.

"No" I said bluntly. The Hokage raised an eyebrow in question, "You have to. Kakashi, make sure Usagi here doesn't make any attempts to escape." They both looked at me suspiciously, and Kakashi nodded.

Looking down, I realized I was in one of the hospital gowns. Oh how I hate these things, they only give limited movement, and they stick to my skin. "Where are my clothes?" I asked, wanting to get out of the gown as soon as possible.

The Hokage walked over to a table and got my usual clothes. The only thing missing was my cloak. Oh well, I could always get another one back at the base. I took my clothes from him, and walked to the door across the room. Chances are, that's the bathroom.

When I was done changing, I came back out, and waited. Kakashi just walked up to me and took my arm. "Hey!" I yelled, not liking his iron grip on me. Though it didn't actually hurt, it made me feel limited, like it would be hard to fight back.

He made a simple hand seal and poofed into a room. It had a bed and a dresser. "From now on, this is your room. Mine is across from yours, if you need anything." I didn't reply, so he just walked out, and closed the door behind him, locking it. Wow, if I need something. I won't even be able to get to his room.

I sighed and plopped down on the bed. Might as well do some training. I was still trying to make my own version of the Mystic palm, where I would be able to heal injuries of a much higher degree, as well as tenketsu and chakra pathways.

When I was done with today's practice, I layed down on the bed. Nee-chan, Nii-san's, Tou-san, and Kaa-san. When will you come and get me? I cried myself to sleep.
