Okay, not sure how I'm going to get this going, but I'll figure it out. xx.
We'd been on the road for a few month's now. While it was fun and we all loved it, it tired me out too. I sat in the hotel bed just staring at the wall. Everyone was else was still asleep. I should've been too, but I couldn't. I couldn't stop picturing the girl from the signing today. She had been absolutely breathtaking. I hadn't felt this way about a girl since my last girlfriend. I hadn't heard anything from her in years. I put my head down and squished my eyes closed.
*********
I sat at the table as I twirled the Sharpie around with my fingers. It was about to get crazy. I looked at Liam who was next to me and practicing his signature quickly on a napkin.
"Liam, are you seriously practicing your signature? We've been on tour for over a year now," I snickered and he pushed me gently.
"Practice makes perfect Harold," I heard Louis snap from down the table. I laughed and saw our manager coming down.
"Alright boys, here we go!" he spoke with a grin as he clapped his hands together. I took a deep breath and brushed my hair to the side. I heard girls screams and yells as the doors started to open. It was all like a slow motion sort of thing. I saw the girls scrambling over each other trying to be first in line. I looked down at the other boys and we all grinned. The first girl stepped through and I flashed her a smile. She squealed and covered her mouth.
"What's your name darling?" I asked taking her hand and kissing it quickly. I saw her starting to cry. She fanned her eyes handing me her book to sign.
"Nicole," she choked out and I grinned as I signed it.
"Thank you!" she exclaimed and I shook my head.
"No problem love, keep staying beautiful," I winked as she moved onto Liam. The rest of the signing was similar to that. I wanted girls to know how much they meant to us. After a few hours, I saw the line was still very long. I sighed quietly, but kept the smile on my face. I checked down the line again and I saw her. I saw the most beautiful girl only a few people away. My heart was pounding under my chest and I saw my fingers shaking ever so slightly. I couldn't help the smile that slithered onto my lips. She was clutching her book to her chest and looked anxious. I don't know why she stood out so much, but she did. She was getting closer, but then our manager stepped in front of me to wreck the view.
"Alright, I'm very sorry to all of you but the boys have a concert to get to, they'd love to stay and sign more, but they just can't. Thank you all so much for coming!" he shouted and I felt my heart crash to the ground. He stepped out of the way and started to herd the girls out. I saw her lingering behind and she kept looking back over at us with tears bubbling on the edge of her eyes. She turned away and started running out. She ran into someone and I saw a bracelet slip off her wrist. She ran out of the building as I jumped up and grasped the bracelet.
"Wait! Don't Go!" I shouted.
***********
I opened my eyes with my heart breaking. I rolled her bracelet around in my fingers and stared at it. Maybe she'd been at the concert. My head was hurting from thinking about her so much. I felt like I knew her, but I knew absolutely nothing about her. I stood up and went into the living room and flicked on the TV. I had to occupy my mind with something else. It was no use though. My swimming thoughts were all about her.
"Harry? Why are you up?" I heard someone ask and I saw Niall rubbing his eyes as he squinted at me.
"Ah, can't sleep," I waved it off and I looked at him.
"Why are you up?" I shot the question back and he grinned coming over with a bag of chips.
"Midnight snack," he laughed plopping down next to me. I smiled and leaned back closing my eyes. I felt Niall grab the bracelet from my hand, and I shot back up.
"Give it back!" I exclaimed quietly and he frowned examining the Pandora bracelet.
"Whose is it?" he asked eying me and I sighed. I shrugged and he looekd confused.
"Some girl dropped it today at the signing, I don't know her name," I replied quietly and his face was blank for a moment, but then his eyes lit up and a smile grew on his face.
"I have the perfect idea."
